Re: Blind battle

I think given the pot size and his stack he's not folding so shove away.

Re: AQo £5 sng problem.

I agree with your friend (limp/fold) and I think 100 is overkill, you will only get action from strong hands (although this is a 5)especially if you get attatched to the pot and can't help firing...

Re: ($27) A8, in CO, A on flop

I make it 250 too if I raise. Given no reads I find I would more likely CRAI if I was a little pissed/steamed. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Re: ITM, AK is this an easy shove?

Call the $1k PFR not the $3k, I would shove given his line and not like it.

Re: ITM, AK is this an easy shove?

If you're getting it all in on 100% of flops then why not shove pre? I just call here without reads to conserve chips and let him take the lead on the flop.

Re: ($27) KQo in BB, Q on flop

I check this flop or make a small lead. Just might get more information with a check and keep the pot small whilst disguising your strength.

Re: ($27) A8, in CO, A on flop

Check raising all in gives the villain an opportunity to bluff off more chips IMO whereas leading allows him to save coz he is going to be laying odds on a raise bluff.

Re: Limp re-raised from MP

Folding is too weak but I just feel raising is a little frisky given stack sizes.

Re: ($27) A8, in CO, A on flop

Thought about checking flop then proceeding? With tight players to act and avg/very short stacks I'm raising here. I believe you either want heaps of fold equity or value against near bust bb/sb's...

Re: Limp re-raised from MP

I limp here preflop 'cos I don't want that happening. Too weak?

Re: Laying down AK in a tournament from a Poker Pro Magazine Article

I think full time live tourney pro's may have a smaller risk tolerance due to 1 tabling and variance factors which would lend them to be more results oriented hence the "possibly" weak tight folds.

Re: folded to your SB.... you peel a 22.... what now?

I like being the aggressor in meaningfull pots and this isn't meaningfull enough yet. Calling is profitable too as you will be able to pick up the pot a fair amount on the flop/turn. Its too early...

Re: Pretty Simple preflop question, can i call with 88?

With 1350 in the pot already and a large amount of action quite likely postflop it is close depending on the limpreraising tendencies of the others.

Re: Pretty Simple preflop question, can i call with 88?

If others aren't capable of reraising here then I would call as the pot is becoming big and your implied odds look good.

Re: folded to your SB.... you peel a 22.... what now?

I call as I don't like building pots out of position with mediocre hands. Although shoving is profitable in a vacuum I think you should wait for better spots to commit your stack.

Heads up VS Chip Jett

I sat down to the left of Chip Jett in the $8/$16 HORSE on FT intending to pwn his ass.
I said "Hi Chip"
"GL"
"Your gonna need it"

Then when it got heads up I proceeded to deliver some vicious...

Time restricted tournament strategy

I deal and sometimes play in tournaments that aren't freezeouts but the top 2 or 3 chip leaders will advance to the final table after 1 hour or so. Blinds generally double every round or 10 mins, and...

Re: Having the worst period since I started playing, some support plea

If you really hunt on the Cryptos and play at peak time there are still those 45/10/1 types that make it worthwhile as high as the 20/40 pound. (I play limit mostly). FWIW I am on a 50k breakeven and...

Re: 10/20 River Call

I figured the only hand I was folding here was QJ and I didn't want that. These guys are showdown bound with PP's,9X's and KX's.
