Re: What is /was your winning percentage at low limit NL HU sng\'s

I'd say that 60% is really good no matter what level you play. Just don't let the cold deck days bother you, maybe quit earler than usual, and you should be fine. Of course I usually play through it...

Re: ***** November LC Thread *****

It's probably a mental thing, I know I start to play a little crazy after I've been on a hot streak. Then I make myself slow down a bit and things fall back into place.

Re: look at my stats and tell me how to improve NLCASH

The numbers look good cachews, but obviously they don't tell the whole story if you're looking to fix any leaks. You should go through and see if you need to cut a few hands out of your button...

Re: Dealing with bad players

True but you're out of position and your opponent has the betting lead. Tough to overcome unless you make the correct postflop decisions 100% of the time or if the hand gets checked down every time.

Re: Poker Stars Instant EChecks

Same BS here. I took a break from poker and cashed out most of my balance in mid September. When I came back to play recently I had a negative Stars balance and no money has been added to my bank...

Re: Full Tilt Table Opener - New AHK script with Graphic User Interfac

Not a huge problem but would it be possible to create a column whose function is to 'change all columns'. I datamine a wide range of games at different times so it gets kind of tedious clicking all...

Re: endgame, simplified hh. nlsng

I'd pass on the second K3o shove and just dump the hand. And I'd probably limp the J9 and be forced to fold to his shove. I'm not giving him the chiplead with J9 here. Just because you may be playing...

Re: Dealing with bad players

I pretty much autoraise any minbet in a raised pot, probably a leak but it seems to work. Even if they call the raise they'll usually fold to a big follow up bet. Maybe I'm too aggressive but the...

Re: Poll: How many games per day? How many a week? Turbo or reg? v2.0

I just smoke at my desk, much easier that way. I guess I must be going at this SNG thing really hard because I'll 2-3 table for over an hour before taking any sort of break. And that's just to enter...

Re: Playing HU poker with a small bankroll

With that bankroll you should definitely play SNGs rather than cash games. Play them to build the roll and to learn headsup play a bit more before you switch to cash games. And if the cash games...

Re: Why is minbetting and limping in position -EV?

Raising preflop is basically just another bet. You are value betting your good hands against loose players and bluffing with weak hands against tight players to maximize preflop EV. Limping doesn't...

Re: How many Buyins is your HU SNG bankroll?

Does anyone increase the number of buyins for every level they move up? Not a huge jump but at least a few buyins to pad the expected skill increase. Or is this type of thing already considered in...

Re: NLCash: Leading OOP

I prefer the checkraise style myself but will throw in a few donk bluffs/value bets occasionally to mix it up. All I know is that I hate playing against guys that donk bet as often as a typical...

Re: How many of you multi-table?

Two to start then I go to three once I get in the flow. No more than that though.

Re: The Right Brain vs Left Brain test

I could see it switch to counterclockwise out of the corner of my eye when reading the text. I couldn't get it to change otherwise.

Re: T9 5sng.. I want to shove.

Well, hopefully he has a flush draw with low cards and not something like QsJs or KsQs (any KsXs, QsXs aren't really that great for you either) but those two would be raised preflop so I guess no...

That's the way I read it and it looks like TN's reasoning is sound. Having a random 20 BI downswing is not the same as starting with 20 BI and losing it all. It is possible to...

Re: Raise Size

I'd make it like 580 if I were raising but would probably just call and shove over his turn lead instead. Marginal hands are too easy for him to get away from if he's only got 300 or so chips...

I'll never in a million years reach much over 200K points a year as I have other more pressing commitments but I do think the SN plus level is a good one as far as ramping up the multiplier. It seems...

Re: UltimateBet:: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

No problem with cashouts etc but the software tilts me (tables and HH windows popping up constantly) and the bonus clearing rates now suck so I quit playing there.

Re: my brother is is 6th grade and smoking weed along with drinking

I would have beat the piss out of any of my little brothers if I found out they were doing this in 6th grade. And it would have stopped. But we're all 25+ and I can't really do that anymore lol.

Re: Good, Deep, Fantasy/Sci-Fi Series (for Older Readers)

Great thread, I've read most of the more popular series and am always looking for something new.

The Stephen King Dark Tower series is probably my favorite but I've always been a huge fan of his...
