Re: Interesting spot with TT on button

Fold the turn. Your tens are probably no good. Your drawing to 8 outs (2 of which may beat you), so i dont think your pot odds are good enough. Even if you do make a straight, your never getting...

Re: 25NL: do you ever fold this spot? (weak flush)

I never, ever, ever fold this. However, I prob reraise the flop and call a push or (if he just calls) push all in on any non-spade turn. I hate checking to villain here because i think theres a...

Re: TT - rivers top set on 3 to flush board against 16/9/oo

With such a high AF, is it possible that he also bets any overpair? I dont have the time to work out the math right now, but my gut feeling is that he would have to bet the river a large % of the...

Re: TT - rivers top set on 3 to flush board against 16/9/oo

I dont really think he has a set here that often either, but he could have something like an overpair with one club or a couple of overs with the ace of clubs. If you check the river to him, you...

Re: 30 NL - 6max - KK stupid spot

Just call. There is no way he can put you on an overpair. My guess is that he has a jack and is trying to protect against a flush or maybe he is on a draw and thinks he can fold you out since you...

Re: A discussion with Corsakh - 3betting pairs from the blinds

I tend to just call with midpairs in the blinds. The fact that I'm out of position is my main reason. Your more likely to make mistakes OOP, especially against a competent villain. Obviously, the...

Re: KK 3 bet pot donked into

A normal raise ( 27 ish ), would pretty much put him all in anyway, so just push now. Also i think a push has a better chance of being called.

Re: AA from BB, looks like a steal to me.

Looks fine to me. The flop is so dry, i dont mind a 1/2 pot Cbet at least once in a while. Looks like the button was just making a move in position with like TT-99 or something

Re: 25NL - 87s hit trips on river, call a push?

If he pushes all in, your almost certainly beat and its an easy fold IMO.

Re: NL50 - AQ river action

Villains hand looks like AQ or KQ to me. I dont think he checks a better hand on the river unless you've been acting like a maniac latetly. I think you should make a small bet on the river to try...

Re: AKs - nut flush draw + overcards on turn. How do you play it?

I think i fold this. Your assuming your overcards are clean outs. I dont think this is true all the time. I think you need a little more money in the pot to make this a shove. He cold-called a...

Re: 50nl KK facing all in pf

Call. At how many BB do we consider folding KK though? 125? 150? Havent searched, has this been discussed in another thread.

Re: 10NL- QQ overpair on turn whats my play

I think you either have to fold the turn or go all the way. Your gonna be in the same spot on the river no matter what card comes (except a queen obv.) After reading it again, im leaning towards a...

Re: NL50: do we ever fold to the river shove here?

Nope. With an aggression factor of 8!, i'll call this every time.

Re: NL20 fold straight to turn raise (baluga)?

Call the turn, i just cant bring myself to fold this, you have to have a damn good read on him. I just call the river, im not sure if he calls a raise with anything less than a flush.

Re: NL5 KJo from CO on LAGy table

I think villains will get it in with any king at this point. One of them could have KQ, but it could just as easily be KT or maybe something like K8s.

Also, your ahead of the flush draws, why...

Re: AK...fear of commitment

What cards are we hoping for on the turn? An ace or king and thats about it. If a blank comes, do we bet out or check/call. It just seems like every situation is gonna put you in a tough spot. I...

Re: 10NL AQ TP IP facing river decision

Bet the turn to charge draws and weaker aces still call IMO. On the river, i would make some kind of value bet and expect a call from any ace.

Re: Quick line check with JJ

Ive seen bad players call with any broadway cards out of the SB. Anyway, he could have a ten plus the flush draw in this hand. Also wouldnt QQ - AA raise here most of the time.

Re: Quick line check with JJ

I would probably bet the turn and hopefully get a call from a ten. I wouldnt worry about an overpair until i get raised. I would play the river the same way once the king comes.
