Re: Rake and Vpps on the stars heads up no limit cash

1. They've changed the rake since my last post in low limit games I see, but NL hu games at non hu tbls are still a dollar a pot.

2. Where can you get 100% RB and loads of american fish $$$...

Re: Rake and Vpps on the stars heads up no limit cash

It's not how much you make, it's how much you pay. Net loss is what counts. Small stakes players are better off in SNGs and high/mid stakes players are better off in cash games. I'll leave to an...

Re: Rake and Vpps on the stars heads up no limit cash

I'd rather get raked 50c with 3.2c rakeback than get raked 1 buck with 8c rakeback.

5c on every dollar up to 50c max. Limit holdem is unplayable below 5 10 but everything else is good.

Re: Folding middle set

I have never seen a check/3-bet semibluff so just say its unlikely..

However, I think the possibility of KQ(BB) and 44(HJ) makes this a calldown.

Re: \"Jesus\" advises Yang to stiff dealers?

Sounds like 1k each plus wages. How many of you only had to work 4/5 of those days? Between 100 (a few of you) and 200 (most of you) a day tippage doesn't sound too shabby to me.

Slide the bar and pick your preference. Bigger numbers=more tables

1600x1200 for 4 tables, I think

Re: OTB.

Why not? Someone is pretty much guaranteed to have an ace. The last thing he wants to do is give an ace the chance to drive everybody out with a reraise, so he checks the flop. He can't checkraise...

on the flop i would strongly consider folding. the pot only has 6 bets, you have someone behind you who could have hit the flop, and you have maybe 5 outs.

Re: 5/10 top pair, Is this an easy fold, or too tight?

Information call. His play on turn/river looks like a whiffy flush, but would he call on flop with a weak heart and player to act behind him? He could well be bluffing with a pair of jacks or eights...

Re: Playing the nut-straight on paired broadway board vs pre-flop rais

QQ? AT? People who bet the flop usually bet the turn without a second thought whatever they have. Especially low stakes. 99 is definitely a possibility. There are lots of draws that need charging...

Re: B&M 5-10. TT in huge pot.

[ QUOTE ]
You have the 7.5/1 odds you need to hit a set already. In fact you have 8.6/1.

Re: B&M 5-10. TT in huge pot.

QJ9 is an escape route when there is 145 in the pot before the flop and it only costs comparitively little to chase and showdown a straight which is very unlikely to be beaten(tie might be likely)....

Re: Playing the nut-straight on paired broadway board vs pre-flop rais

It's tough to just call down, but you have to. You're only slightly in front of trips so value betting him isn't worth a lot. He's making you pay twice if he's in front and you'll be losing maximum...

Re: B&M 5-10. TT in huge pot.

Folding preflop is silly. You're guaranteed 130/15 pot odds to chase a set (no one is folding), not to mention TT is the best pair for escaping with one card straights that are likely to win the pot....

Re: [$2/4 Razz] Check behind or value bet river?

This is why there is no way villian checks a seven on the end in the low stakes Stars games:
