Re: 25NL - 92o, bb special

When I've got trips and no kicker, I make it my business to keep the pot as small as possible. If you make a move your hand is pretty transparent, so the only way you'll get business is if you're...

Hey, two more pairs.

No reads on this guy. I read the flop min-raise as an attempt to buy a free turn. Two min-raises made me worry but by that time I was pretty well tied to the pot, no?

Two pair, a draw hits...massive overbet.

Villain is 28/12 over a negligible sample size.

Re: 25NL - Flop top two with AJ, big raise = standard?

Yeah. Kind of a drawy board, and you don't want the Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif to come out.

BB was just checking whether you really had an ace, and you confirmed his suspicion. (I hope you...

Two callers with a 6BB raise? And there is no excuse for this flop action. Get me an account on this site...

Yes, all-in in on the flop.

Re: 25NL, A3 sooted in a reraised pot

Call me Sally, but I don't even know that I see a flop here. Against 44+ and A4+ you've got three outs. Throw in KQ, QJ, etc, and you're ahead, but not by much. Unless he is really really terrible...

Re: yet another bad/WTF spot with QQ

Bet less on the turn. What are you hoping to do with such a large bet? Tens aren't going anywhere, and you wouldn't overbet if you had a ten, would you?

Odds or no, I think I fold this river.

Re: 50nl JJ against a squeeze

I think I dump it, but it's close.

The key for me is that if you don't flop a set, and he leads out (which he should) you won't have the faintest idea where you stand. I guess you could call and...

I liked this shove until I reviewed the session (Warning: Math inside)

Villain is 37/16 over a tiny sample, though I don't think I knew it at the time. Hand, then analysis.

Re: NL50 - 2pairs on 3bet flop vs Unknowns

Muck pre-flop. How do you play Kxx or Jxx with any confidence?

Can't really put him on AT, but QQ is a real possibility. But even that would bet bigger. Make it $25 and shove the turn unless that...

Re: NL10 Turned a straight on FD board

Flop: Yah, you bethca. You'll take down the blinds and limps more often than not. And your c-bet will do the job if the initial raise doesn't.

Flop: I've been having a lot of success raising this...

Re: 50NL: AA CRAI on Dry Flop

If he's check-raising with a set he's terrible. (Not to say he wouldn't do it, but it's still terrible.)

I call.

Re: KK overpair + FD against deepstacked megadonk

What is the thinking behind calling the flop min-raise? I guess it makes sense if you think he'll continue to bet on later streets, but in this situation I think I'm getting as much of my money into...

Re: Rivered boat, what to do?

I dunno. $6 maybe? I'd put him on an ace or a mangled 9, so you want to bet an amount that Ax will call. (If he's on 9x, he's 3-betting, so cross your fingers.)

Go too big, and you lose too many...

Re: 25NL - Am I supposed to fire on this river?

Re-raise pre-flop perhaps?

If he's raising 28%, you have his range torched. Take this [censored] down pre-flop. Also with the RR pre-flop, if you get called, your flop lead will get a LOT more...

Re: TT on reasonable flop against retard

Given his passive nature, I don't think I raise the flop. Your FE is 0, and you're going to create a huge pot with an okay but hardly spectacular hand. Creating a huge pot will make things so, so...

Re: 99 question

Why I don't like a push:

-You've got five people to act after you, including a couple of guys who are more desperate than you.

-You won't fold hands that beat you.

-You will fold hands that...
