i also think that his raise of your flop cbet was pretty terrible here....with almost all hands in his range, i think floating is the better play. then if you check he can take the pot away from you...

IMO it just comes down to how often he folds mid pocket pairs here.
im not putting him on trips/boat hardly ever. he could have total air here every once in awhile. it could be a midish pocket...
