Re: river bluff vs. 2p2er

For the purpose of discussion we could consider you had A high b/c you're not getting called by anything you beat and I really think he is calling with most Qs. Your hand looks quite a bit like a...

Why not take a stab at the flop? Its not like you can't represent anything (AK,AQ,QQ..AA).

I suppose I could have. I liked the idea of taking a free card there. I guess...

Re: 200NL Middle pair value bet this?

Check riv. It's so thin and if he's calling flop and turn w/ mid pp then he is surely folding river unless you have a bluffy image. It looks like he flopped big, obv fold now.

Splashing around in a 3bet pot

Villain is 19/15/3.5 over a large sample. He is capable of 3-betting light and this was the third time he had 3-bet me in about 50 hands; all from the blinds iirc. I folded pre to each of them. I...

Re: NL100: AQ w/TPTK in 3bet pot facing turn shove against unknown

Against an unknown with I'm tossing it preflop. You don't beat anything but a ridiculously played AK or TT on the turn. Definitely fold there.

Re: 200NL: KK on A high flop

I'm planning to c/c a reasonable river bet here, if for no other reason than to get some info.

I couldn't help but notice in hand 1 that you could/should have fired the turn as well.

Re: when to fold...

I'm probably folding the turn. His preflop raise of 7 gives him a narrow 3-betting range and players with those stats always make min 3-bets with big hands. He isn't very aggro so I don't think you...

Turn and river play w/ AA 3bet pot oop on paired board.

I feel like a puss for playing it this way but I had zero info on villain and this was just my 2nd time in the blinds at the table.

Not betting the river seems so weak but.... Meh, thoughts?

Re: Backdoor flush with 23s, 160bb deep NL100 - river bet size?

His AF is 0.3? I would probably raise to ~$35 and fold to a 4-bet too though.

Re: I make set on turn, but it also puts flush and 3-straight on board

I think this is a fold on the river. I doubt you're looking at a str8 b/c decent players usually don't draw for a gutshot on a 2 flush board; unless he backed into it floating 77. Wouldn't he be...

FTP 200 - flop set monotone board, facing turn c/r

Villain is cmitch; I have ~12k hands on him at 23/13/1.6. His turn c/r% is really low and his river AF is 2.5. His went to SD is 28% and won at SD is 52%.

In an earlier hand I had AK UTG+1...

Re: tptk 3bet pot oop river situation

I checked the flop because I felt there wasn't much value in betting and to disguise my hand. I didn't think he would call a bet with the Ace out there unless he had one. This is the first 3b pot...

tptk 3bet pot oop river situation

Villain is CS_Sitz on FTP. I have him at 27/13/2.5 over 30k hands. We were on several tables together, he was defending his blinds frequently and trying to float me in position. I had not 3-bet...

Re: 200nl - AK flops TP and faces heat from aggro opponent.

If we bet the turn for say $65 and he just calls what do we do on the same river? The pot is very big now, we're still oop, and we can't b/f.

Re: 200nl - AK flops TP and faces heat from aggro opponent.

It's ridiculous to just str8 up felt this hand on the flop. Villain may be LAG pf but his rcb is only 10%. Those types rarely raise the flop with a draw. A 32/25 also 3bets ATs+ in this situation...
