The $70 pots do seem to come in more often at the peak times (U.S. evenings), but it's more than just that. The average pot sizes in the peak hours are higher at $2/$4 and many tables they are over...

You get more points playing $1/2 LHE(full) than you do $2/4 LHE(full).

They both award 1 point for a 5BB pot. At $2/4 you get an extra point...
