just checked my stats, full tilt got 2,7bb/100 from me for the 20k hands i spend at 2/4. But as you said he might be folding too much, i have his Vpip + 10% and his VpipfromSB + 10%, so i do pay more...

If I remember correctly 2/4 on FTP has around 3 BB/100 rake, So i think defending any2 can only be profitable if its combined with a lot of postflop skill and a bad opponent.
