Opening Moves That Lead to Head

Im just curious to hear any opinions on opening moves that lead to head, whether tried and true or just work some of the time.

My last failure included slow steady pressure to the back of the head...

Re: stack-a-donk BLUFF!

Looks like a good checkraise bluff but I dont think its a stack-a-donk unless its able to actually stack him. This is just a normal, even somewhat weak checkraise. Also, I think stack-a-donk...

Hi, in a PM we talked briefly about shifting styles. Can you post some HH's where you won a big pot from a good+ opponent due to the confusion you induced by shifting styles (describe your style...

Re: oop 3b w/JJ gets in multiway rag flop spot

[ QUOTE ]
I think I'd lead the flop and be prepared to get it in vs. CO, and not put any more money in the pot if UTG+1 sticks around.

[/ QUOTE ]

I should have included that UTG+1 probably...

oop 3b w/JJ gets in multiway rag flop spot

The original raiser is a competent 21/10 but has a high cold-call-raise pf stat. He. like most 200nl regs I know, likely never 4bets his big pairs in position.

The CO is a weird unpredictable...

Re: Question about raise-size (w/HH)

[ QUOTE ]
$30-40 seems fine. Enough to tell SB and BB you have a real hand, fairly easy to get away from if they call.

My thoughts exactly (I raised to $35)

Any dissenting...

Question about raise-size (w/HH)

SB and BB are ok players. There aren't really any draws on this board, and Im going to safely assume that a checkraise from one of them has KJ beaten. I can also safely assume that they arent...

thoughts on this very unfancy line?

Villain is 30/8 but is probably a marginal winner at this level with average hand-reading ability. I think he has been around for a while. His aggro factors on each street are ~1.5ish. None of my...

preflop standardness

all three limping villains were like 50/10 players (yeah incredible game), and all of their "fold to flop bet" %'s were in the 50-60 range.

Super standard to complete SB here?
