Re: Tuff spot in 3bet pot

Fold,

Raising here pretty much pot commits you, so you can't really bet / fold which I would like to do.

When you call pre flop you're aim to commit on a board that has no over cards. The...

Re: Quick quiz

More info? Stacks? Bets preflop? Villain tight or loose?

At the end of the day, you compare likely hands vs what beats you vs what you beat.

If you end up with lots of hands you beat that...

I'll use money as its simpler, however it can be applied to any limit as BB's if you...

We're calling a PSB against someone who we are reasonably certain will not be slowing down on the turn as they have an overpair.

Re: i played this perfectly, right?

Looking at the implied odds on the flop.

You have 8 outs to the flush. (8 because 1 is either in villains hand, or will make his full house if it comes, i.e. as results given a Kh comes). We can...

Re: typical sandard deviation for a good nl player

No right answer. Someone who is LAG most likely has a higher average SD then someone who is TAG. Doesn't mean one is better then the other.

Simplest example would be a coin flip. I get two...
