Re: Good Fold or playing too tight?

[ QUOTE ]
Don't raise to begin with.

[/ QUOTE ]

i think the raise is fine. but 225 is way too big. 130-150 is a decent raise, and id fold to the action

Re: B&M STT strategy/value

[ QUOTE ]
You don't have to make many changes to your game. You only start off with 30 BBs so just be patient and play ICM based.

Re: TT in CO w/ 12 BB/ limper ($11)

this is kind of a tough decision for me too as a newbie.. given your bad position at this point, i think calling is kinda risky because you have no idea what everyone behind you is gonna do. also if...

Re: 11 KQ itm button shove?

u have about 15 BB and SB and BB both have more then 10BB so i dont think this is necessarily a push/fold decision. depending on how the villains have been playing, if they are the type to raise,...

Re: 11 JJ early / upfront standard?

i might probe bet the flop about 200-250 and fold to reraise. i think youre giving the villain to much of a chance to push you out on weakness, but the passive c/f line is not bad either. nf.

Re: jj utg+1, limper, 14 bb shove? ($11)

raise to 300, maybe more. evaluate any reraises, i dont see any reason to push here since ur stack is in good shape, i think youre better off trying to extract value with this hand than steal the...

Re: ($24) Shorty in BB with J6o. Line check

i dont see any reason to call this hand preflop when you barely have 6BB. got a lucky flop, TPGK despite the drawy board you hav no choice but to push

Push/Fold Decisions

My biggest problem with SNGs, and probably same thing goes for most newbies, is deciding what to push/fold with. I'm sure this subject has been beaten to death, but honestly, besides reviewing hands...

Re: $25NL TT overpair on river

raise more preflop. looks like u did .85, should do at least 1 dollar.

Re: NL50: preflop with QQ

CO's range could be JJ+ and AK, BTN's range a little wider... id call here and see the flop, if theres a A or K its a check/fold, if its all undercards then either a PSB or a strong c/r to take down...

Re: NL25 QQ 3 bet again

the weak flop bet makes me think he has two overs that missed. he has like 12 bucks left, push him all in, if you call his 4.75 hes pot committed anyway so your only options are push or fold. i...

Re: AJ flops TPTK on J92 board, Q on turn against aggressive villain

theres a flush possibility on the board and by calling the villain's $2.5 dollar bet (in a 10.75 pot) we are giving him a vry cheap card. either check raise the villain and take it down, or make a...

Re: AJ flops TPTK on J92 board, Q on turn against aggressive villain

bet the turn and the river. you let him take the lead when the Q came and he wants to take advantage of ur weakness. your reads/notes lead to this same conclusion

Re: NL25 Hero hits his set on a 3 flushed flop, bets flop, Villain sho

min-bet on that flop is a bad idea, you just potentially induced a bluff. should have done a 1/2 pot bet on the flop
