Cut off point for calling 3 bet after having raised a PP

Been looking at this a little and wondered if anyone had done the maths. Situation no doubt everyone is familiar with. Assume a 1 / 2$ No Limit game. You raise a PP first in and everyone folds until...

Re: Farha on Omaha - Anybody read it yet?

Not sure if you get it or not but my take is if the odds are in your favour then the more times you run it the better the chance of getting the more likely result. If the odds are against you the...

Re: I hate TP vs nits - 200 NL

Yes the nitty cold caller could be setting a trap and now executes it on the turn rather than flop, or does he just sense weakness and take you off the hand? Same decision later street but harder to...

Re: 2nd barrel open ended vs TAG

He could have a pair which would likely be fairly weak and may be scared of overpair or he has OE like you and decides on the turn he no longer has implied/pot odds. Bet and your aggression gets the...

Re: JJ

Why not bet the flop, you get a better idea where you stand, otherwise you are blindly paying off any King or better for your whole stack. A bad player could easily do this with KQ etc. If he is that...

Re: Please help me settle an argument - 400NL hand

I go with the get it all in on the flop, although you say he will fire again he knows he has two cards to hit his flush on the flop giving him reasonable odd's (in his mind) to go with the hand, once...

Re: Tricky QQ 3bet pre flop against tricky player

From past experience this type of player has started to Slow play AA/KK in exactly this type of situation where a 4 bet is transparent but just calling with the view to getting maximum value heads up...

Re: Tricky QQ 3bet pre flop against tricky player

Yes i kind of butchered the hand, but the idea behind the weak lead is to rep AK that just hit and decide based on his actions what to do. i.e. if he raises as he did i am probably beat.

Re: Tricky QQ 3bet pre flop against tricky player

Yes i guess in a 3 bet pot that should be the line could not see him with a 9 but in this hand after playing with villian for quite a while i was pretty sure i was looking AA/KK with pre-flop action...

Re: KK gets 4 bet, but what do I beet?

I believe you "beet" everything apart from AA. Now he may have AA but i think there are significantly more card combinations out there that are not AA.

4 handed shove this every time, i would and...

Re: AQ facing river push on scary board in RR pot

Agreed i think you see 55 a lot here, he hopes you have a flush and if not hopes you are willing to call with the hand you have.

Re: NL200 How to play QQ overpair

To add to this i think recently this has become more my line as so many people just call a 3 bet with KK or AA so they can stack JJ, QQ on a low board.

When they used to shove pre-flop it made...
