Re: Correct turn check?

One of them has at least a pair and will take it to showdown, don't put more money in this pot.

1/2 KQo (semi) bluff

Villain is 38/14/1.1 wtsd 33% (400 hands)

Only hand this session between us Villain raised 87o in MP, I 3-bet AQo in CO and bet flop and turn (245r J). Villain donked a 4 river and I called.

Re: Is this a ridiculously zero play?

Your read was that villain is a donk, donks stack off lightly.

Re: NL10, flopped nuts, ugly river

I would raise preflop versus one limper, our hand is way ahead of his range.
But you checked, so I would just bet the flop to build a pot.
River is a fold, he has a full house.

Re: NL25 Overpair, drawy board

This isn't WA/WB, villain can have all sorts of draws. So I would bet to protect my hand and for value.

Re: QQ overpair, 3-flush made on turn - How did I play it?

b/f turn, c/c river.
You don't want to give him a free card, because there are a lot of ugly rivercards (club, A, K, T, 2)

Re: 1010 UTG - 10nl

With SB having $6.25, this is either a shove or a fold preflop.
Looking at his stats, I like a fold /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Re: 25NL: AA on turn/river.

Against an aggressive villain, I like a check to induce a bluff.
Against a passive villain, I would valuebet for sure.

Villain probably is something between aggressive and passive...

Re: **Official** uNL BBV Thread - October

Suck/resuck... I wanted to smash something when I saw the turn because it was obvious BB had a flushdraw.
Nice pot though /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: AKs v donk

If you raise the flop, take the free card. His riverdonk looks to be more than A-high.

Re: NL50 JJ

I bet more on the turn ($16), he is obviously drawing and I want him to fold.

Re: Really BAD FOLD? Giving the opponent too much credit?

Flop is misplayed. I don't mind the riverfold, you only beat a bluff.

Re: AJ, TPGK bets fires twice, need a riverplan

I like a c/c on the turn for pot control, because the board isn't really drawy/ induce a bet from weaker aces.
Anyone else likes this line?

Re: set on a drawheavy board

Isn't a limp/minreraise AA/KK 99% of the time?
I think I would call here, but punch myself in the head if he has AK.

Re: KQ preflop situation fold/call/ raise?

A fold isn't tight vs an UTG raise.

Re: NLHE10: KK two hands in a row

1) Fold river, rest is good.

2) 3-bet preflop.

Re: Top pair + Straight draw on the flop

Tough situation, since you aren't closing the action.
I think I would fold here, too many bad things can happen if you call. And if you raise, only better hands will call.
But I'm not that sure.

Re: Tough TT hand OOP

Because of his stats, I really want to call. But I think it's best to lay it down, villain's line is pretty strong.

Re: Two SB vs BB Hands

c/r flop in hand 1. You have an overpair in a blind battle, if he has you beat it's just a cooler. (Preflop is fine)

Hand 2 I probably fold to his flopraise. He has a better hand on the flop, so...
