Re: NL400 - Top card pairs on turn, pot control AA?

yea it feels nitty but I think its the best line. I doubt u get three streets of value from 99 if he has no reason to think u'd three barrel him. Ur reasons pretty much nailed it.

Re: warning: contents may contain SPEW

I like it if he's the typical 2/4 thinking tagish reg. He'll never have a boat and he should know your first bet is rarely a bluff, so all he really beats is a vbet turned bluff. So yea unless u have...

Beating the Rake at .10/.25

Hey guys,

I'm a mid/high stakes online poker player (tdogg99 for those who know) who's helping some people get started at the micro stakes online games. It seems to me that the rake is a...

Re: hi browerkid

pretty standard move by him and pretty standard call by u. I mean he may be tight but hes a winner at 5/10 and anyone who thinks browerkid is uncapable of a semi bluff here is way off.

Re: hi browerkid

from my experience he's def capable of semi bluffing here. could also be AQ. i call but folding isn't awful

Re: KK deep vrs donk

raise flop and call all in. Especially since u can a ton of draws and I don't see him folding jj or qq on such a drawn board.

As played raising the river is awful

Re: Live 10/20, surprising river check/raise

I fold. What does he call the flop with and bluff river? 56, 66-88 wouldnt turn their hand into a bluff. He could have taken this line with a gutter or 55 or mayyybe a slowplayed overpair. Plus given...

Re: all-in fun

I call both. Very few players c/r a 9 and this is the perfect flop to c/r bluff with. On the turn and riv it seems like hes trying to bluff u off 88 or an overpair because u probably dont have a 9.

Re: limpraise from fish and overbet psh flop what to do

If he hasn't been limp reraising that frequently then fold pf. If he's a real maniac and has done this quite a few times call and then stack off. Given his stats and my general feel for these...

Re: Bluff this river? NL2k

I'd give up. You don't have a whole lot more left to shove and the river is the perfect card for him to snap off a number of missed semi bluffs. The only thing that you can really rep is 89 and...

Re: Sickest thing of my life - someone kill me now

you're a winner at nosebleed stakes. i know that sucks but don't say your life's a conspiracy because you're damn lucky to be where you are.

mods i think this belongs in bbv?

Re: 50/100 HU trips deepish

i hate check/calling because i don't really see a hand that he bluffs with since both big draws hit and he'd probably check down hands like KK, JJ, AA and AT.

so its either shove to get value from...

Re: NL $200 - QQ 3bet pot

if you have a strong reason to believe he's a nit who rarely bluffs in big pots i'd fold. I mean u did call a fairly large rr pre and a cbet on the flop, he's got to be somewhat scared.

however,...

Villain is lostforwords or something like that on FTP. I don't know much about him other than that he's somewhat of a regular. He seems pretty standard/tag so far in the half hour I've been at the...

Re: Straight and Flush hand...what do you guys think?

reraise to 325 on flop

scary board for ak rr pot

5/10 ftp. i've been at the table for about 15 hands. villain is pretty tag but capable of mixing it up, fairly solid player. he knows me from the past as kinda laggy and capable of making moves....
