Re: 2 Hands

Hand 1, I dont cap the flop. I just call down, I dont give much credence to his speech play.

Hand 2, I call the 3 bet and c/r flop. Or b/3b flop if villain doesnt c bet often. If villain 3b a c/r...

Re: Taking my lumps with Kings?

I would have raised the turn. As played, you have to call when it is 1 back to you.

The river is a fold, villain has done his upmost to get as many bets in as he can, the 4 flush is not scaring...

Re: Another standard hand I think...

No apologies necessary. I am enjoying the discussion.

I would have folded red kings also.

Come the river the only hand I am reasonably beating was AcJx, the turn donk when the flush/str8 came...

Tried isolating a weak player, ooopsy I get too much company.

SB is terrible and aggro with it. Previously have seen him raise/cap K6o in a multiway pot. In general, when there are limpers to him he will raise with any kind of trash. He often chases tot he...

Another standard hand I think...

I feel compelled to call the river bet, although in reality what is he cold calling 2 on the flop with that makes him lead the turn.

Is anybody raising the turn for a free showdown ? or with...

Re: Folding Kings

I would have bet the turn.

When it is two bets back to you on the river, a fold is fine. Especially as the river bettor was the 3 bettor also.

Re: How badly did i butcher this hand?

Every street except the river is close imo.

At 3/6 I take the same line against some villains, others I give up pre flop.

Dude, why did you post the hand? It's perfect. You can't cbet into a J9x board against this many opponents and it was impossible for you to screw up the big streets. NH

AK in position, line check please...

UTG has been trappy. Waiting until the turn to raise flopped sets and two pairs, even on drawy boards.

MP1 plays 6 max primarily, he linmps or cold calls with suiyed conectors and suited gappers,...

This particular woman is so passive that her pf raising range is QQ+ and AK. She was the original raiser and I three bet. This is situational and based completely on my opponent.

Re: poker stars 3/6 How much action do you give here?

I call down after the flop cap.

I am never raising that turn vs an unknown.

Had I flat called turn, I might raise river, but I doubt it.

Flat call UTG is a medium/small pocket pair quite...

Re: it\'s all about fishin\' man

5/5 nl doesnt strike me as a beginers game.

I would guess the poor (skills wise) players who came to play have been sent to the poor house. So you are left with mediocre-good-strong players.

Re: Bellagio poker rate?

The hours are per room, so 2 of you can play 3 hrs each.

6 hours for $30 might seem like a lot of play for minimal return, but where else are you going to play anyway ? Also, sometimes the poker...

Re: SB checkup

I would have folded, in a regular game where sb is 1/2 the big blind it is close.

1sb to win 8sb is the odds we need (7-1). Of course we have implied odds with out hand to lean towards a call in a...

you said your stealing at will and he gives up on the turn, here he is not giving up so why with nothing do you feel the need to continue. Just fold and steal next round

why did you check the flop?

Banking on at worst the button betting, then being able to face some of the field with 2 cold.

Super standard ??

SB loves ace rags, often calls to river then folds. I assume this is when he misses his Ace.

MP2 unknown.

MP3 passive fish.

Button tends to be aggresiveness.

Full Tilt 3/6 Hold'em (9...

Re: Blind steal meets resistance, for the first time...

Are we buying that villain has an Ace when he donks the flop ?

I couldnt put him on an Ace, as with my 100% C bet vs him when blind stealing, he has the perfect opportunity to c/r me.

I dont buy his flop lead, I have C bet every flop and turn so far. So he could...
