Re: PL50:45s gets 3bet, I make a loose call IP

[ QUOTE ]
OK, I should have pushed river. I even knew that at the time.

I had actually pushed the slider all the way over before I chickened out. I had that sick feeling you get when you know you...

Re: 50NL | are my over pairs good? :[

Hand 1, I think this is a set at least 75% of the time.

Hand 2, if you are going to call preflop you have to call the flop too. Is this his standard raise?

Re: KK vs lagish meanie on scary board

I would lead the turn for about $7.50 and raise 4BB preflop.

Re: how\'s my equity now?

I'd fold to the flop raise here against a tight player, especially after the 6BB preflop raise.

Re: $0.25/0.50 JJ vs BTN reraiser

I had very few hands on villain. Only 1 hand of note seen and he played it solidly. I just think there is some chance this is a positional play, but probably not that much at this level.

$0.25/0.50 JJ vs BTN reraiser

Should I just check-fold any non-jack flop here?

70.7/22.4/1.4 aggr 9.5 postflop aggr

Should I have reraised preflop with his loose PFR%?
I didn't have the postflop aggr stat up at the time so I folded the turn because I figured if I call that...

PS ($12) 180 turbo V-shortstacked Call push (98)?

I think this is a close decision, but I'm almost certainly going to have to put my stack in with a marginal hand very soon. There are about 35 left 18 get paid.

No reads because I'm new to the...

Re: OT: [censored] thread, September, READ RULES IN TOP POST

What's the best way to learn pushing ranges in 9 player SNGs? It seems to me impossible to remember enough of them, so is there a good points system to use or any useful charts?

Re: Stars $38 A9 in BB to raise

But isn't it hard for villain to bet or call turn here without top pair or possibly one of the higher under pairs?

Re: Stars $38 A9 in BB to raise

[ QUOTE ]
$38? Is this is a 6 man? Any reads?

I hate post-flop either way. I'm more worried about preflop.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes it's a 6 man.

Stars $38 6 handed AK preflop

Initial raiser is is 24.5/13.2/1.1 over 53 hands

Min reraiser is 36.9/19.4/1.2

My thoughts are that the min reraiser has a big pair and is likely playing aces or kings badly. But I probably...

Re: 50NL Standard position where pf raiser checks ace high flop oop

This is bad against an UTG raiser, because he likely raises alot tighter from here than he does in late position.

Re: AQo BTN

As played to the river, you definitely have to call this because it's a small bet compared to the pot size.

From your read it sounds like there are several hands he could have here that you beat....

Re: 50NL 10s on low boards

I think the trouble with checking this flop is that although villain is very loose and also aggressive postflop, your 3-bet preflop is quite likely to have alerted him to the fact that you have a big...

Re: 10NL AA facing turn aggression

Your pf aggression in the blinds may be important here. if you don't raise much in blind v blind situations, then villains pf calling range is likely to be narrower and therefore a set is more...

Re: NL 50 Good spot to dubble barrel?

You could make a small bet vs a non-diamond river to try to make ace or king high (missed draw)fold.

Re: TP2K Pooosh NL $50 6m

Maybe you have to go with the loose table stats, as OP has no individual stats on these players.

Re: NL 50 Good spot to dubble barrel?

I think double-barreling here is good, especially if villain would reraise preflop with QQ+ and AK/AQ. Villain could also have called flop with underpairs that haven't made a set and all these should...

Re: TP2K Pooosh NL $50 6m

The interesting question here is does a set normally lead for exactly full pot? My thinking is that it doesn't. Usually a set would bet less than full pot here, and would often actually check. But...

Re: flop nut flush draw + overs - what the hell is this guy doing?

Yes, of course you should call the river. Why? Well because this player is very, very loose. You played the whole hand fine imo.

The only slight thing you could change is to make it something...
