Re: If I posted a pxf link could I get free good advice?

You might make it easy for us by pointing out hands you are not sure of and maybe the area of the tournament that you would like to have someone look at.

Re: flush draw OOP with 11BB\'s as a ~potsized bet behind

If you go for the check-raise, you have no fold equity, so you should open push.

With an M < 10 I don't usually play hands like 43s, because I don't have the implied odds to make them profitable. ...

Re: Fulltilt froze my account with 47 grand in it

One of the fundamental requirements for justice is that you are told the charges against you and you are allowed to present a defense, including cross examination of your accuser. Full Tilt does not...

Re: True NL beginner with elementary questions

33 hand: calling the minraise is fine unless you think someone behind you is likely to make a big raise, in which case you need to think about who the raiser might be, his stack size, the likelihood...

Re: 27$ - QQ makes a set early, flush possible on turn

[ QUOTE ]
the A /images/graemlins/club.gif falling (takes a lot of flushes out of his range in a raised pot oop early) combined with the hand strength of your flopped top set leaves me thinking...

Re: $3 R+A - ITM - Short Stacked - Good Push or Not?

The hand conversion seems to be fubar. The action says you raise ai to 18544, but you only start the hand with 12,832.

You are giving the limper (and the SB if the limper folds) almost 2:1. So...

Re: wrong bet size or simply horrible play

Most of the good posters here will always (or almost always) call in a spot like this when they are getting 2:1 pot odds. This is usually correct. For example, if you give BB the range of any pair,...

Re: wrong bet size or simply horrible play

Stealing with T9s is fine. You did size this bet to give yourself a tough decision if BB pushes. Raising to 3000 would mean that you would be getting 1.6:1, so 38% would be break even--still not an...

Re: Stars 20/180 TPTK River Decision

Going with your read on UTG+1: His most likely limp-after-limper hand at small blinds is a small to mid pair + some suited connectors and suited aces. I think the pair is more likely. Based on that...

Re: Folding Pocket Ace\'s postflop- no brainer or tough decision??

Your call here is reasonable. I would expect a set of Ts to play it slower and try to extract, since you have, at best, 2 outs. I think you'll see overpairs here often enough to make a call...

How does the probability of deal being made at the FT in any way impact your decision on this hand? I don't see how unless you expect people to give you a ridiculously good deal at the FT....

Re: hmm im a tourney donk and never have a big stack late in a tourney

It would be good to see the converted HH, but based on what I see now:

Accepting that villain is not folding preflop, you cannot fold this. If his range is any pair, any A, and any 2 broadways,...

Re: Late game strategy? When to/not to take the flip?

In hand 2 you are getting 3:2 if you push and are always called. That means you break even (i.e., EV = 0) if you have an average of 10.5 outs. You have fewer than 10.5 outs against only sets and...

Re: Flopped a sr8 flush, how do i get paid?

What range do you put BB on? Top pair, 2 pair, a pair + AorK/images/graemlins/spade.gif, maybe just A /images/graemlins/spade.gif. How about a flush: maybe, but he has random cards so a suited hand...

Re: How to handle people who want to chop and constantly nag live even

There are a few things going on:

1) There are microstacks that are itching to chop and it would be a great deal for them. They are often the ones that are aggressively nagging and berating those...

Re: Deep stacks w/KK...ugly turn card?

I think button's preflop calling range is likely to be:

1) pairs, with medium pairs more likely. Usually reraise with big pairs, usually fold the little guys.

2) big suited cards.

3) a...
