specifically, i'd like to know how he reacts to a turn check-raise. is he likely to call down 1 pair or will he lay down...

Another thing to keep in mind is that stoxtrader's book is about tough shorthanded games. Fullring features a lot more weak-tight play which would reward lighter 3betting.
