I think this is standard. Folding the river would be horrible considering you're getting 4 to 1 with trips and no scare card on the river.
Maybe a slightly bigger bet on the turn.

I generally blame variance for these types of hands and just move on and try to remember that the set ups work both ways, however, I decided to post the hand to make sure it's variance and not a case...
