Re: FT $10; set on turn; how badly did I play this?

As far as the pf raise, for me it depends on the table dynamics, raising if its been weak and limping if its been tougher.
For the rest of the action, it really does depend on reads and his skill...

Re: $6 shootout, round 2 bubble time. Call this push?

Not sure. If you lose, you're in 4th place. You have less equity to gain from knocking this guy out than the other two guys at 38K. Frankly his stack is not so small that I'm putting him on any...

Re: Nut straight on monotone flop ($9.90 360 max)

Missed the SB call of the allin. Against one all in, easy call. With the SB call, I agree that this is a tough, but probably must, fold

Re: Nut straight on monotone flop ($9.90 360 max)

Most times in this situation with your small bet you're up against A - 8/9/10 with the A of hearts. If thats the case, they would have 7 outs (one heart gives you a straight flush). Puts it around...

Re: KK\'s vs 79s flop: 39J rainbow : wot m i dn rong?

Yeah, with the one limper, I think 120 is the most I'd go preflop (4x BB). After that, your all in push is a gigantic overbet. You should bet about 1/2-3/4 the pot to keep nines or jacks in the...

Re: 0.50 NL Holdem KK Hand

If anything, I think the only mistake would be potting the flop. What range of hands would he have called with? At the micro level, i see people call a big reraise with middle PP hoping to spike...

Re: trapping with big pocket pairs

Agree, I play in these mostly as well and all limping does is create a sea of limpers. Then you're UTG with 5 people in behind you. Especially early/middle of these tourneys you can expect a call...

Re: Deep stacked 6max situation w/ AKs on Full Tilt (30k guarantee)

With that deep a stack that early on, I would tend to just call the reraise or even fold. You have position, there's no need to push the AK here. See a flop and see what happens, and go from there. ...

Re: 44 in MP3, Turbo MTT

At that point, you're getting 1.6-1 on your money (not fantastic), and someone who is not nescissarily desperate has just popped it all in. You're at best a coinflip, potentially crushed. I would...

Re: 44 in MP3, Turbo MTT

I'd personally want to raise to about 3-4 x BB (maybe 700). Gives you a good price if BB goes all in, and your stack is big enough to put a dent in all remaining players' stacks, so you can be...

Re: Theory Question

I would say there is alot that goes into that that changes what answer I would have. How many places pay? What place are you in/how many are left? What's your M/ BS's M?

In general, I'd say...

Re: Folding JJ preflop

Sorry, didn't mean to post a "bad beat masked as a survey." I was obviously ecstatic to get my money in that good, and I've been playing long enough that bad beats don't really phase me, so again...

Folding JJ preflop

Hey everyone, new poster here. I encountered a situation in a recent MTT that has been causing me some trouble, wondering if there was any advice.

Blinds were 2000/4000 with 200 ante, 7800 pot to...
