Re: Tough Live 5/10NL Hand

push. i can't lay down a set giving him credit for 45, and i think he raises any pair pre-flop from the button. Probably has AQ or KQ thinking he's best here.

Re: oh crap, he c/r\'ed the river

A flop bet seems pretty standard here, I'm curious as to why you checked. Board is obviously way too draw heavy to call the river bet, although it feels like he's slow playing a set.

Re: 25/50... ugh, can i get off this?

Easy call. You easily win this more than 1 time in 3, so you're good from the odds standpoint.

Plus, it seems borderline retarded to pay for your draw on the turn, then fold when you make it on...

Re: AA on a paired board vs LAG

Kinda looks like the board scares him and he's protecting a hand like 88, or maybe something like KQ or Kx suited. Easy push for me.

2/5 NL Very Deep Stacks, Facing Turn Overbet And Two Opponents

Last night at local B&M. Game is an even mix of competent but weak players and complete morons. Most hands have 4 or more players seeing the flop. I've tripled my stack taking down alot of small and...

Re: NL200 - KQ rivers two pair

57 is the only number I need to see, push.

He donked a PP here I think. AA probably, although his anxious bet on the river might might make me think his has QQ. Either way it's an easy push.

Re: Common MSNL leaks..?

I've noticed alot of people try to price out their flush and straight draws OOP with like a 1/4 pot size bet on the flop.

Re: 10/20: QQ i rr pot, cr on K high

5 handed I would've re-raised villian preflop. It's the only point where you are going have an opportunity to take control of the hand since you're OOP against a LAG player.

Your in a world of...

interstingly, my top 5 losers are all suited rags: 74s, 93s, Q5s, J7s, 84s. I spew 0.18BB/hand on each.

Re: DIY \"Tounaments\"

Cash games move way too slowly once you approach middle limits (NL$200 and up) to make this truly workable. Alot of guys use this technique with a short buy strategy that makes it a little more...

First off, this topic has been discussed ad nauseam.

Think about what you are asking here. You are playing approximately 1 in 40 hands and putting your whole stack in play when you do. How long...

Re: AA2x in the BB at Mid-Stakes, do you raise?

Pot Limit or Limit? That makes a huge difference.

I raise this hand 9 of 10 times in Pot Limit.

If it's a limit game and it's 4 or 5 way, I check. If an ace and/or the nut low draw hits the...

Re: NLHE playing Middle Pair

First off don't confuse playing loose with playing aggressively. In this example, betting 100 into a 400 pot is isn't aggressive, it's actually very passive, just a loose bet.

Next, betting...

Re: Set of 2\'s - can only beat a bluff?

Never fold a set on the flop, ever. You can always slow down and attempt to control the pot size if a tight opponent plays back at you. If you don't improve by the river on a 4 flush or KQJT board,...
