Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)

What kind of BR do you need to be playing $55 buy-in tourneys? Seems like you'd need a BR equivalent to playing 100NL.

Re: Interesting hand 10nl How do you play it?

BTW, if turn card wasn't a K or A, you're probably getting called on your shove 99% of the time.

Re: Interesting hand 10nl How do you play it?

Even at a tight table, I don't like T8s UTG because if it gets to the flop, you will often be OOP and run into these kind of marginal situations.

It's pretty obvious that villain has a J or some...

Re: *OFFICIAL* December Goals Thread

- Stay at 100NL but refuse to move to SSNL forum

- $3k month

- 40k hands

- Don't tilt when I'm just about ready to lose a huge bet that NE Patriots WON'T go 16-0.

- Win all of my 5400 FPP...

Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)

That's too bad, I already lost my motivation to play in those 5 minutes that it wasn't working.

Re: Pokerstars 5,400 FPP sng satellite to the Sunday Million

Honestly, if you don't earn many FPPs and it takes you a long time to save up 5,400 FPPs, I would use them on something else. Otherwise, if/when you lose one of these sngs, it's going to tilt you...

Re: Tax on fpp items?

Presumably, Stars is paying the sales tax. As Niediam said, you would have to pay federal/state taxes on the value of the item you get from the store.

Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)

BTW I love running on a heater over 300 hands and having a sick win rate for the mini-session and then posting it in the brew saying, "OMG SUSTAINABLE?!"

Re: Is this too nitty preflop - AQ?

Yeah, standard OOP. If I'm on the BTN and 3bet by SB/BB who knows I steal a lot, I usually call or 4bet if I've seen him 3betting light.

I wish I knew how to play poker other than hold 'em. I mean, I understand the basics of any poker obv but I'm sure not knowing the strategy would make me a fish in anything besides hold 'em.
