Re: Using ICM while playing

Pokerstove is good because you can determine the likelihood of certain hands/general ranges matching up against other hands/ranges. I just mess around with the variables and see how different ranges...

($27) 88 vs a raiser, shove or fold?

Villain has been raising from early and middle position frequently, he raised 3x from the CO and hit KQ to get the chips. Also just raised last UTG to 3xBB at 75/150, and has been very...

(27) Line check, TP weak kicker

First hand of heads up, villain seems pretty TAG but has opened his game as it gets shorthanded. How do you like this?

Wow coach me! What makes you think you can handle two when you can't even handle one =0. How would you have sex with two girls? Who gets what? Where would you begin? Equal time?

Re: LC - My plan for moving up (recommendations welcome)

Here's the software review thread (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=singletable&Number=8456488) that convinced me to get sngwiz. I like viewing situations with graphs to...

Re: 11$ speed: AK linecheck

I think the main reason they limp AK and AQ is to keep the worse aces in the hand, that will often go broke postflop with top pair (Axs, AT+) at the low limits.

I think they also limp, then...

Re: $27 - JJ OOP KQx board, cbet?

I don't think I want to call if they start betting because of the overcards. If I check to them they might bet with the small pairs thinking it's good?

Re: $27 - JJ OOP KQx board, cbet?

I'd likely make that bet as well, thinking any small pairs, ace-x type hands will fold. How about if the flop was T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/club.gif,...

Re: 20 6 max: Ac8c. OH BABY! oh baby. Oh baby?

Ok my mistake, I had the blinds at 300/600 instead and pokerstars 6 max includes antes. Haha, it's not as easy as I made it out to be but once he brings KTs and A7 into it, it's all +ev from there.

Re: 20 6 max: Ac8c. OH BABY! oh baby. Oh baby?

Super easy call, no way he is shoving only AA and KK. If he brings QQ into it, then it's all +ev from there.

Re: 27$ - Pwning the bubble

I like it and play this way often, but I think the amount of times you've pushed/stolen blinds in the past determine how loose you'll be called. After showing down decent hands and playing tight I...

Re: Moving up question

I like the idea of 100 at the lower level, so you're really giving it a good try. The advantage of having so many buyins is that you don't have to move around too much.

Re: ($24) AQs vs. SB\'s minraise BvB. Line check

I'm pushing this every time, SB can be raising almost any ace here so you're not behind very often. It's a very good hand to take a showdown and if not then you're in great position to start shoving...

(12) 88 on BTN vs a limper

Re: $16 - AQo look him up?

I'd definitely have pushed if folded to me there but the caller made it seem closer than it is. I put in sngwiz and it seems that only if MP1 limps less than 20% and calls less than 10 it is a fold....

Re: $16 - AQo look him up?

I'm not raising it there preflop, it would be between just call and fold. When they move on the flop I would also fold. What is he calling the big raise with and pushing that doesn't beat me?...
