NL10 22 in BB - limpers

Stacks are 80-160 BB deep ($8-16)

UTG and all his friends limp. SB completes.

We a) pop it $2 and take it down, b) raise another amount to build a pot, c) join the crowd and go for a set, d)...

Re: With hands like this, am I just pot, pot, potting?

No need to let him draw for free. The 4 extends the opportunity to bring him along as he hunts for a heart. I might check-call the river or block-bet $10 and call any rr (sizing?). (And this...

Re: AJo OOP--multiple limpers

I'm 50:50 and played something very similar twice earlier at 10NL. Once I folded and the other time I raised 4+1, got called by a bingo player looking for 2p (or something - called a lot and folded...

Re: Riverd TPTK, facing huge raise

I think we're beat. He may have weaker Ad bare but more likely he hit flush or 2p. Fold.

Re: $10NL Flopped Set Monotone Board

In my head, I'd been more aggressive with PP. Checking in with the stats shows a slightly different story.

Re: Nl25 AK, flop ace but board is paired.

If it is just the one opponent, I call this. I see too much AQ, Ax, and FD to let this go.

$10NL Flopped Set Monotone Board

I'm working on a bunch of stuff in my game. I've been 'bobbing' last 5k hands w/in $100. Popped in $200 more and started playing more aggro last 1500 hands - bleeding quickly at -6BB and not due to...

Watching this and Phil G says he has to ask Tilley how to beat Gold. I turn to the Mrs and say, "Doesn't he watch TV?" She says, "Not since he cried" [on PAD].

Re: \"Official\" Poker After Dark thread - Week 7

I liked the hand where Chris made aces and said he could beat A8 and A2 and Gus said he'd take A2. A2 would have made a straight.
