Re: 78s line deep: 600NL

cbboy et al- why aren't we betting the flop here- do you really think his range hit this flop that hard?

Re: NL400: TT flops set in a reraised pot...

I think against someone who's going to give you trouble postflop, a PF fold is best IMO.

Re: Need river line

GRUNCH:

i call this flop, but i don't think folding is bad either.

C-C river, he'll be bluffing more than 1/3 of the time

Re: 3 handed: I get limp reraised

just call, you can use your position so effectively postflop i don't think there's much value in 3betting. some villains will do this with TT, AQ+ in this spot, and some will do this with all sorts...

400NL: 65o: i really want to bet this turn

Villain is TAG and hasn't done anything stupid since he's been at the table (c. 15mins).T Hero should have Tagish, but not nittish, winning image IF villain has been playing attention.

My thoughts...

400NL: 95s turns 2p

Villain in this hand is the fish at the table. very loose-passive PF: tends to open-limp a lot (maybe 50%+ of all hands-no PAHUD yet) and call raises OOP after limping. he folded the only two times i...

400NL: QQ against good reg

villain is Backd00rnutz on party. he's a good multitabling TAG. i have him at 16/12/2.6 over 300 hands. he berated my play afterwards, so i questioned my line.

hero is Tag, hasn't been out of...

Imagine what your first instincts are to do to handle the situation, and then do the exact opposite. That's pretty much the best play to make at all times with most women.

Re: 2/4 | c/r with big draw gets called.

bet, anything better than AA tends to raise the flop; and you'll usually fold out all one-pair hands+better FD with a turn bet.

Re: Ugly on every street

[ QUOTE ]
I think ur line is fine, and id prob call the river getting such great odds and expecting most 2pair+ hands to raise the turn.

Ok I forgot to explain that I was going to, I like to bet like that amount so that I get a little more value out of 6x, 77-JJ etc. Also yeah I guess it might induce him to bluff...

Re: 1/2: 2 hands, do i cbet here?

i think hand one is pretty close. both lines are fine i think.

hand 2 i think against this villain a Cbet is in order, although it's also very close. he'll let you see two more cards often FWIW.

Re: getting repopped with AQ and turn decision

in this spot i'm flat calling flop for pot control/getting more value v TT/JJ on later streets. against a looser villain raising flop is good, and i like you bet size.

as played shove the turn,...

Re: NL200: K6s I steal blind vs blind

bet/3bet flop is a very good line in this spot. his range includes str8(78, QJ) and worse flush draws (against which you have fantastic equity), TPMK (which will often fold to a 3bet), air, etc.

Re: standard payoff with a set?

- raise flop a little more, like $32.

- betbetbet turn. you crush his range. checking here is majorly 0EV

technically.

Re: I got confused, folded, and felt like a moron afterwards.

any clubs, 78, any ace, etc. getting it in on the flop in a limped pot isn't great tbh because your equity is likely to be low even against an unknown.
i think calling the flop raise and CRAI a...
