Re: Ahead of his range but unprofitable to push?

[ QUOTE ]

I just think there might be better situations to get your money in.

[/ QUOTE ]

If this situation is +EV to push, and there is more EV in pushing than calling or folding, then you...

Re: Alternative line

Thanks. Yeah even when I was typing up the post I was thinking 'hmm these guys aren't aggro enough to try this line on'.
I should be betting as standard unless there is a seriously good reason not...

Re: very simple spot, low content

I 3bet and he folded obv. Thanks for replies, I think calling is best here now, I just get surprised whenever a donk shows aggression and then folds.

very simple spot, low content

What do we like here, 3-betting or calling? No reads on villain, other than his stats over 20 hands are 40/0/1.7

Blinds: $2/$5

Alternative line

I took a different line than standard with these two. What do you guys think? Or is betting the turn much better, and as played then calling rather than raising river?
Thanks

villain in 1 is...

Re: 100nl trips vs a c/r

I think you're very often toast when he check-shoves the river, but you're getting ridiculous odds so calling is ok

Re: 3 handed: I get limp reraised

I don't think you can fold to this, and I don't like a 4-bet with AQ against a straightforward player. So I'd call

Re: 200NL AK vs 4bet preflop

Easy fold. You 3bet a 13/8 and he 4bets you (17/15) cold.
Snap fold.

Re: NL200 - so i 4bet AQ and get called, now what?

60-64 is basically a min-4bet. I'm making it circa 80.

Also check fold flop. I know it seems horrible after 4 beting but he will probably call with most of the range he called your 4-bet with, ie...

Re: deep live 1/2, a4 fills up on river

Easy shove. It looks like he's value towning you with one of many draws which hit. The toughest bit is keeping that fistpump internal. I find its such a tell.

Re: Extremely passive guy donks river - shove or call? Fold?

Folding isn't terrible, but I really don't like raising. Call cos I'm a station!

Re: $100NL Pre-Flop 4-Bet Pot with 10-10

Fold to the 3-bet. UTG raised and the SB 3 bets. SB should have a pretty tight range here and your not in good shape against it. Also, theres a player to act behind you.

I called and folded to his shove on blank river
At the time I thought I was getting odds, counting 14 outs. Afterwards I realised only the flush outs were good, and maybe the tens, so it was much...

Pair + fd on turn

Stats here are over a very small sample, 88 hands. But fwiw he is 36/25/1.8, with aggression by street 2.75/2/.33

I have 77 behind if I call his turn bet. What should I do here?

I?

TPTK on bad board

I found this one really awkward. Board is bad, stack sizes are bad. On the plus side, villain is bad /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Villain is 31/9/1.45. He has 89 behind on the river, pot is 72. Can...

2 pair in bad spot

Villain here seems very nitty, 11/6/3 over 230 hands. His aggression by street is 2/8/1, and his turn bet % is 59.

What is the best turn line here? He has 220 behind, pot is 105.

Blinds: $2/$5...

AK v cold 4bet

SB is 22/18/2.5, He has 3bet a bit in steal situations, so v him I would be happy to 4bet and get it in.

The cold 4-bet from the BB obv changes things though. He's 22/11/2.5, and he plays tighter...
