Re: What am I doing wrong???

You play at Prima or Ladbrokes??? If Prima: How on earth can you call that tight? It's like insanity all the time, anybody with more than zero outs is willing to go all in.

Re: AK, AQ, AJ s are leaking! There is water all over the place!

About cbetting in reraised pots. It is much less likely that people are on draws in reraised pots. Compared to standard raised pots you will see overcards/pairs much more often. If he has JJ+ here,...

Re: NL10- horribly played set by hero vs. unknown

Looks good. On the turn he's giving you the odds to hit your full house on the river.

Re: I hit my ace on the turn, but it\'s a fold?

I expect KK+ to 3bet preflop.

We are behind AK,33 for a total of 7 combinations. We split with AQ,AJ,AT = 22 combinations.

So we expect to split 3/4 of the time. 0.5*3/4*65=23 dollar or so....

Re: Calling All-In\'s with Marginal hands vs shortstack LAGS

Looks like a fold to me, but try stoving a range AJ+,99+. Maybe you have 40% equity. But I doubt it. Anyway, I don't understand your preflop play.

1) First of all this guy is quite aggressive, so...

I fold hand 1 preflop to a 3bet. Even a min3bet.

Re: NL50 JJ Sanity check pre-flop

I think folding is your best option here. You are OOP and are crushed by his 3bet range.

Re: Donking the flop

1) If my opponents are weak-tight I donk with ATC on dry flops. Not always of course, but I definitely do it a lot. And I feel it works very well.
2) If my opponents are maniacs I donk with sets...

Re: Pooh Bah Post tl;dr

I think I play a lot worse if I am playing like I am hanging in front of a tv. For me that's not the best way to approach it. A better way to view poker, at least for me, is seeing it as sport. When...

Re: Top set should fold?

I like a bigger raise on the flop. I.e. a potsize one, that is to 1.80. In that case the pot would have been bigger and your odds would be somewhat better.

On top of that I think I call here. Who...

Re: Raising low pp\'s oop pre-flop

Another reason why I like raising: if you raise any hand you play UTG, your hand is disguised. It's so transparent when somebody limp/calls UTG. This is a pp or sc like always. If people like this...

This villain is way too loose and passive. This guy picks up AJ and likes his hand and is not going away because he likes picture cards and aces. Of course he may also have AQ/QQ. I have even seen JJ...

Re: 2NL - I\'m terrible with Overpairs...do I just bet here?

Don't keep the pot small with AA in 6max when 100BB deep. Look for a way to get money in the pot. A good first step would be to raise a decent amount preflop. If you raise preflop, you shouldn't...

Re: Nutflush beat, but played it correctly?

You could have played it differently. 3bet preflop, not mandatory but an option. You could have raised the flop, but calling is fine if you wanna play a bit more passive. But on the turn you got it...

Re: Official Other Sites Regulars Thread(UB, Abs, etc): Part II

I've tried the iPoker network for the first time. 20NL is quite soft there, though somewhat less insane than Prima.

Re: 50nl, I need exp with deep stack play

I think your action depends on:
1) your cbetting tendencies. if you cbet a lot, your flop bet doesn't mean much so he may look you up with all sorts of hands
2) how often do you 2nd barrel with air...
