This just happened at Ocean\'s 11 in Oceanside, CA

After a night of playing in a juicy $8-16 game w full kill in which I could not get much going, going from winning big pots to losing those chips right back to ridiculous random runner runners, I...

Re: 2/4 NL I played 65s draw aggressively...

With a draw like that though, wouldn't you want a couple callers along the way? (only reason I can see for not raising there...) Plus the raise on the turn seems like a bigger hand...

Re: I had to laugh at this one, even if I was bitter...

Wow - I love the sarcastic elitist responses...the point of my post was highlighting how funny it was that he said he thought I didn't have a flush but then said he would have folded if he didn't...

Playing in the donkfest that is $1-2 NL at Foxwoods, I flopped the nut flush in a raised pot, fastplayed the hell out of it, and got the remaining $75 in my stack ($75 had gone in on the flop) in on...

Anyone planning to hit the 'woods tomorrow for some $2-5 NL? I haven't played it there yet and if you could share any experiences, that'd be great - thanks!

Re: NL400 6 max...I felt like I got outplayed when he just called the flop

If you think you're good here, maybe you can risk checking and let him bluff off his stack on the river if he only has $179.

Alternate line -- just make him pay for his flush draw and push him in...

Somewhat deep $1-2 NL: Something I will probably never try again

It's a seven handed game at a local card club; my image is very tight. Game has a $200 max buy-in, with an average stack of $350-450, one huge stack at $900. I'm sitting on about $550.

The...

Hi all -- this is a hand from last night at a local card club and I would love any feedback just to see how differently you would have played it.

At this point of the night, the game was 7 -...

Re: Going to Vegas, should I buy a money belt?

I was just in Vegas for NYears' -- I had about 6K with me and had no problems -- keep everything in your front pockets or wear a light jacket with some kind of inner pocket that zips up. As long as...

Re: STOP OVERPLAYING POCKET PAIRS AND WHINING WHEN YOU LOSE WITH THEM!

You say 3:1 fav to improve for overcards -- haven't you ignored the fact that the pocket pair doesn't have to improve to win or is this thread a joke? It seems like all the threads under this topic...
