Re: Should i really be betting here?

Its ok when you are willing to fire a second barrel. You will mostly get called by draws, so its worth it.

Re: Blind vs blind I\'m lost again

Is 20/18/3.25 really an aggro? Looks like standard TAG. Give him credit for a hand and fold pre. On the flop either check-fold or c-bet near potsize.

Guess he pushed the turn, right?

Re: Dealing with frequent preflop reraises.

My 3-betting range in the blinds: 99+, AJ+
My 3-bet calling range: JJ+, AQ+
4-bet: I may 4-bet QQ, KK, AK. I don't 4-bet AA if there is just one villain

Re: [NL100] JJ and how they get in trouble

At least one of them should have you beat. Fold.

Re: 2 interesting hands imho (nl200)

I don't like the hands. In the first one your building the pot for someone with KQ or K9 and your flushouts probably aren't good as well (though you might get a better FD to fold)

Hand 2 is...

Re: 100NL - Did I mess this hand up vs decent player

If he is a good thinking player as you say, he will not hope to check raise the river. So he should have bet a Jack or a flush.
Don't see much value in a river bet though as I have seen people play...

Re: New to SH - Am I too aggro? - 3 hands (NL50)

Thanks for the replies.
All hands are with 6 players. I just entered the ones involved in the action.

New to SH - Am I too aggro? - 3 hands (NL50)

I am new to short handed. I am a winning player at full ring NL100. As a result of two swingy weeks I am trying out short handed at NL50 at the moment. My first sessions were quite successful, I...

Re: 50NL: 2 Multiway C-Bets

Depends on your image and your reads.
I also mix this up. When you played tight you might c-bet and 2nd barrel. A tricky villain might outplay you though. If you c-bet here, bet more (5$ in hand 1...

Re: KK Facing Minraise on Turn

Am Flop würde ich 5 betten.
Sieht wie eine typische Set-Linie aus. Fold.

Re: Set and overpair plays...50NL what do you think?

Hand 1 ist horrible. You have to go broke here or your losing value the other 90% of the time where he does not have a better FH.

Hand 2 If you think he traps with AA, then why do you push the...

Re: (100NL) AA vs. Reg on Button, my line ok?

That's the low variance way to play the hand.
With Overpair and nutflushdraw I bet the turn and block bet river.

Re: I had a massive downswing today

- Don't push AK preflop
- K9s: I fold to Turn minreraise. Turn minreraises are monsters most of the time
- AJ Flushdraw: you don't get the odds to call the all in
- Don't push QQ preflop
- KK vs....

Re: NL100: QQ in the CO line check

I like your line, though I prefer the flopbet to be a little higher more like 26-28$.

Re: 200NL Fake blocking bet with the nuts

I don't see a hand that will raise you here. But a flush or an Ace might call a little more. I would bet slightly above half the pot, maybe 36$.

Re: 200NL: I hate folding AA

Horribly weak played.
Leading Flop an Turn will cost you the same and get you a nice pot most of the time. You can still fold to a reraise any time.

Re: General Theory - KK/QQ on Ace high flop

Against one opponent I always c-bet here. My c-bets are at least 3/4 pot. Haven't really analysed, but I believe its EV+.

Your C-Bets are too weak. With 11 into an 18 pot or 12,5 into 21 I would...

Re: 200 NL, trips against passive player, any value in river raise?

When these guys start betting the river, the alarm bell starts ringing. He may show up with KK but I would just call.

Re: AKs checkraised for the nut flush draw. We\'re pretty deep.

Against an aggro I would reraise to 120 and call a shove. I think your AK outs are good. He will 3-bet crap like 68o here.
