The special teams are important too. Let's say both teams typically start on the 25 after a kickoff, and average 30 yards net on a punt. If that's the case, the offenses have to average less than 20...

I'd say 98% of SE posters could have coached the end of the game better than Nevada did. That was unbelievably dumb. I don't see how anyone with an IQ over 40 who's ever played or coached football...

Great decision by Nevada to go for it on 4th down. They really needed a TD there from a mental/emotional standpoint and with the way they'd been running the ball it was a +EP (expected points)...

One thing Kaepernick's been really bad on tonight is carrying out his fakes. On that 3rd and 1 play, it was an easy read for the defense that he had the ball just because he was running.
