How is this calculated? Is this just straight up won or loss vs home or away?

If so it should be really obvious that the methodology is completely flawed. In particular, unbalanced schedules are...

FWIW, I was in Vegas during the Ottawa/Jersey series and wore my Sens jersey on gamedays. Everywhere I went people stopped me to talk hockey. I was really, really shocked.

I'm a Sens fan and obviously I'd love to have seen Pronger get 5 games, but realistically, you have to think the ratio is something like:

1 Stanley Cup Finals game = 2 playoff games = 4 regular...

Emery leads the playoffs in shutouts but only has the 12th best save percentage at .919.

Yep, they alternate between calling absolutely anything resembling a penalty and calling nothing at all.

As much as it drives us nuts, I can't imagine how the players feel.

I think the big wild card nobody's talking about is that Saturday is an afternoon game. Those always [censored] everybody up, messing with the players schedules and routines. Anything can happen.
