Re: UB Locks My Acct to Investigate Possible Security Breach

Still nothing.

I'm not optimistic, based on reading sillysal's thread, that I'm going to hear back from them any time soon. My experiences w/ FT support have been much better than UB support. ...

Re: UB Locks My Acct to Investigate Possible Security Breach

Thanks for the response, that wasn't the message. I honestly don't think I've done anything that could have triggered their security.

What really worries me is their language, "security breach." ...

Re: UB Locks My Acct to Investigate Possible Security Breach

At least on FTP I'm not worried about them actually stealing my money. On UB, I'm not confident I'll get my money back--which makes being locked out all the more stressful.

Re: 100nl- AQ in a blind war

You are looking for a how to play guide. Unfortunately it doesn't exist.

Re: 100NL 3bet Pot C/R

3betting trash is good against TAG's who are't positionally aware and like to set mine. They miss most flops w/ AK and their small pairs, so cbetting is extremely profitable.

On the flop, however,...

Re: UB Locks My Acct to Investigate Possible Security Breach

I guess it's just the ominous security breach that bothers me. I definitely have done anything to cause suspicious. I don't do weird transfers and I don't have an infinite river aggression factor....

UB Locks My Acct to Investigate Possible Security Breach

Hi,

Long time lurker here. I'm a midstakes player on UB. I tried to log into my UB acct yesterday and I found that it was locked. When I contacted support, I was told that they are...

Re: Party Poker Cashout Dilema..

So could I conceivably open a money bookers account w/ a fake name and fund it via transfer without having to register a bank account or credit card?

Re: Some hands from my last session

#1: Turn bet is ok...it's nice to have a read on what his tard bets mean. From a lot of donks that bet means a weak king. Just call the river. The only thing you fold out is the flush draw, and if...

Cbet the flop. Double barrel a non-draw completing turn.

Re: 50NL: Wtf at river raise, help

Bet the turn and fold to a raise. Then check behind on the river unless he's a massive fish.

Also, raise more preflop.

Re: 50 NL: Test Your Handreading Skills

Chum, he flat called a 3bet. Even though he's aggressive, not many people at 50 NL will 4bet JJ almost 180 big blinds deep.

Also, I think with AK I would take the same line. I don't want to...

Re: 50 NL: Test Your Handreading Skills

Dunkman,

I didn't mean for this post to be patronizing. I discussed this hand with a respected SSNL'er lastnight and we both thought it was interesting as far as putting villain on a hand.

Re: 50 NL: Test Your Handreading Skills

[ QUOTE ]
The strongest play you've made was the 3-bet preflop. Floating the flop and betting the turn when checked to aren't necessarily strong plays.

Ok, lets back up then. Why do...

Re: 50 NL: Test Your Handreading Skills

[ QUOTE ]
you shouldnt be in that situation w/ JJ because you should have raised the flop.

[/ QUOTE ]
Why?

[ QUOTE ]
but JJ is a call, you beat a flush/AQ

Re: 50 NL: Pot is Big, River Sucks, What\'s Your Line?

IMO his river range is AT, 77, JJ+

We are ahead of that range. As only hands we're losing to will bet if checked to, we should bet to force him into calling with those hands he wouldn't...

Tufat, Pokey (!!), Illuminati and Deaders are 4 that come to mind.

There does seem to be something particualrly odd about 50NL, because all 3 of the above posters are top, top players...
