Re: Another Semibluff 3-bet turned bad

I think 3betting light OOP might be a bad idea if you're not bluffing on this flop.

Re: Another Semibluff 3-bet turned bad

This is a pretty good board to cbet. You're always betting AK here so...fire away.

ZOMG!! IS HE TARPING ME??

Villain is very aggro pf; TDavis5 on FTP fwiw. 40/38/2.6

My plan is to play back to a CB on most flops that I've connected at all on. The flop check is suspect. I've been in a hand with him in...

Re: hand reading practice thread...

It would be good to include at least some kind of stats/read on the players so we can adjust hand ranges accordingly. Rarely do we have absolutely no info on a player.

Re: pp + oesd vs. aggressive UTG raiser

Am I calling planning on betting if I'm checked to and I whiff the turn? Is he more likely to double barrel with air on a blank turn given how many draws are out there on the flop? Should this...

Re: pp + oesd vs. aggressive UTG raiser

Thanks!

fwiw villain's CB % is 66 but it's over a small number of hands.

Also I'm raising here with the intention of folding to a push right?

Speedlimits; why do you choose to call here?

pp + oesd vs. aggressive UTG raiser

What type of thought process should I be going through when deciding whether to raise this or just call this. In this case villain has taggish stats and I know him to be pretty aggressive postflop. ...

Re: NL100 - 99 against an idiot

Bet the flop, it's not like this guy is aggressive enough to justify inducing a bluff or something. Just bet and hope he overplays his boat. As played I'd call, he played it pretty weird...checking...

Re: Rate my bluff

Given his probable range and how likely he is to fold according to the hands in that range I think this is probably -EV.

Re: 100NL AK rr pot

You have TPTK in a rr'd pot and villain is unknown. Majority of players at NL100 suck. Given that villain is unknown, I think it's safe to say that he probably sucks. That said, even if you...

Re: KK on 936ss9 against LAP donk

Bet 30BB on turn and then you have to call 42BB to win 146BB. So you're getting ~4:1 odds. If you think villain pushes here with something you beat ~25% of the time or more then it's a call. ...

Re: AK, lots of outs on dangerous turn, what\'s your line?

I vote b/f or c/c...I'm not sure which one because I think we have decent FE if we bet but I don't think we can call a push because we can only count our discounted diamond outs plus our queen outs. ...

trip aces...villain\'s line is odd..

Villain is 37/13.4/1.5

I have to discount AK, AQ, and I don't see him pushing with any other ace besides A7 which I think is in his range. I guess he could have 77 too.

Full Tilt No-Limit...

Re: help with calling 3 bets preflop

I think the correct approach to this situation is not identifying whether sc's or KQ are "better" to call with than the other. Rather it should be something more like attempting to employ an optimal...
