Re: 400nl - J10 facing a donk lead on river

btw i'd fold riv as played in case my post was a bit misleading... i meant i'm just calling his $18 bets or whatever on turn and riv.

Re: Party 600 - blind battle, tptk calling dowwwwwn

this would be a great time for the bb to turn Jx into a bluff... i don't know if this player is aggro enough to do that/is even raising Jx on the flop though.

Re: Post hands where your cbet is raised and you play back?

i'm pretty sure no one's posting the hands where they play back/make a hero calldown and look like an idiot...

Re: 400nl - J10 facing a donk lead on river

i would raise the flop a lot of the time for value/protection/balance but then when he donks the turn i'm playing pot control and calling down... what's so wrong with that?

Re: 400NL: WTF QQ Full House facing river bet

on one hand this seems like a call to me. on the other though, how often can the villain here really expect a PSB to result in hero folding?

Re: value crai on river, flush on paired board

[ QUOTE ]
I dont think 9x raises the river if we bet, but he might talk himself into calling if we c/r.

[/ QUOTE ]

i also think a smaller flush is a possibility for villain, and the same...

Re: Official Party Regulars Thread

lol.

the point of that rule is to prevent collusion partyscout... live players do not react well to you asking to see their mucked cards.

Re: bluffing against a block

might just work against somoeone dumb, like this guy probably is, but it's pretty bad in general. you're repping 45/maybe A3/air, so many other draws missed and he only bet half pot.

Re: Very Weird Hand X-Post from HSNL: Showing Love for MSNL

Re: Ugggh, set fold

wow. such a good chance he had a lower set too.

i can't believe you are at all afraid of 74 or 97, let alone afraid enough to call the turn and fold the river

Re: Nl3/6 I hate you. I really do

maybe i'm way off but the $260 on the river just looks like going for pure value to me. which i suppose could make it a good amount to bluff with...

i don't know anymore

oh right, i guess i...

Re: Nl3/6 I hate you. I really do

i dunno, i don't think Qx or JJ or TT should really be paying off what seems like an obvious value bet on the river... hero probably isn't 3-barrelling this board very often and he's not value...

Our check on the river, really looks like we're holding a "I WILL C/F" sign.

[/ QUOTE ]

betting 600 is holding a "I WILL B/F" sign too IMO...
