I think I can find a fold on the river. His line is really bad news for a pair.

QQ on AKx flop (shorthanded)

All these guys are very loose. UTG is 67/14, aggressive pre and post. BTN has been passive so far. SB is 55/3, mostly passive post but likes to make weird river donks with a weak hand he made on the...

Re: donk in EP with strong draw, on turn ?

Everyone's limping here preflop? This is a fold for me. I want a few players in behind me to play this hand.

Re: Can very loose .25/.50 SH be beat?

OP, you playing at OnGame? Sounds quite similar. I've just had a really bad run there and have been thinking about the adjustments necessary. Here's some random thoughts:

Steal less. If you have a...

Re: TPWK draw heavy board

I'd check and see on the flop. The pot is smallish, your hand isn't that great and that board is very drawy. What I do after checking depends on who bets and how many call.

Re: Stars 1/2 - AK 2 bets cold on turn

Dump it. CO's raise has killed your odds and it's very unlikely you have the best hand.

Re: Blinds, damn blinds...

Eh, I don't think you can call the river. About the only thing you beat is an outright bluff, which isn't likely.

Re: Full Tilt 6max .25-.50 best river line

I'd check behind. That's not a good river card, and as HJ is unlikely to have a 4, I don't see what worse hand calls anyway.

Re: QTo turn peel and river bluff

That flop peel looks really thin. With two weakish overcards and no draws to speak of, I fold.

Re: Q9s flops a good draw

I check the turn. I doubt you're getting both of them to fold often enough, especially Button as he seems quite loose.

Re: AT, turned trips but opponent is fighting back

[ QUOTE ]
he can also have 44 and maybe QTs too.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think he'd have to be more than moderately aggressive to have either of those.

Re: AT, turned trips but opponent is fighting back

I'd call down from the turn raise. BB's weird line is like screaming "I HAVE A MONSTER".

Re: Do you always give them credit?

That old maxim "never fold a set before the river" applies here without a doubt. You have 10 outs if you're behind, folding is awful.

Re: KQo losing ground on the turn

Grunch:

Raise preflop. KQs has a decent edge and plays well both multiway and less.

Don't fold the turn. The pot's large, and while you probably don't have the best hand any more, you have...

Raise it. Knock out diamond drawers (or at least charge them).

[/ QUOTE ]

When UTG donks that turn you have to give him credit for a made hand. Call down.
