Re: Biggest regular casino PLO game in the USA?
On the weekends, the Beau Rivage in Biloxi regularly runs a 10-25 PLO with a mandatory Mississippi straddle ($50 on the button). Sometimes they have a 50-100 PLO game going as well.
I also know...

Re: Laptop for Taking Notes in Class
90% of law school students take notes on their laptop (myself included). But I strongly suggest disabling your internet access while you are in class because it is a huge distraction.

Re: Limit Omaha Hi - general advice wanted
I have a lot of experience playing 15-30 and 25-50 Limit Omaha Hi at Harrahs in New Orleans. I think the advice of most of the above posters is dead-on.
Most games I have played in are very...

Re: pot limit omaha?
Yeah, generally PLO plays deeper than NLHE. I would say 200bbs would be my average buyin.
But like JP said, it depends on the texture of the game. Also, say you have 400bbs to play with. Do you...

Re: harras 15/30
Yeah, I have not seen a 15-30 HE game in a month. There was a 15-30 O(High)/HE going on one Friday night in early August. The 15-30 Omaha game goes regularly on Tuesday and Friday.

Play at Harrah's. It is the only place worth playing.

And nowadays with only low limit action and a $6 rake per hand, it's almost not worth playing there...

Re: What\'s up with Josh Arieh Lately?
FWIW, I played with Josh at Beau Rivage on Labor Day weekend. We were playing 10-25 PLO with a mandatory $50 Mississippi straddle (i.e. - a straddle on the button). He later moved to a 25-50 PLO...

Some stuff I forgot about:
The NL games have a time charge of $6 per dealer down. The PLO games had a collection pot for the rake, but I never really figured out how that exactly works. The...
