Re: Hands to choose to play against AAxx?

Any connectors, like 4567, are perfect to play against AA. Playing really high connectors, like TJQK, are a bit less advantageous because if the A hits for your straight he just hit a FH draw. ...

Re: Top set vs poss. wrap vs poss. FD, 1/2 PLO

Whoa, relax kids. I wasn't ever going to fold in this situation. The question wasn't "was I right" but "at what point do I get worried."

If stacks were $1000, $300 and $1000 and I led out with...

Top set vs poss. wrap vs poss. FD, 1/2 PLO

I apologize for the lack of a converter and proper hand history, but Cake Poker doesn't allow hand histories.

This is full ring PLO, with 8-9 people at the table.

Hero: SB with $200
Villain 1:...

Re: PLO beginner: Good chase, or a complete donk?

I'd just like to add that since you are sure you're not ahead after the turn, I'd c-c and hope to hit on the river, since you have so little money left he is committed while you can still fold and...

Re: 3 bet pot, whats the eplan? 1/2

[ QUOTE ]

I don't think you understand what "dominating" means. The guy with $40 left most certainly does not dominate you here with his range. You are only slightly behind an overpair here...

Re: 3 bet pot, whats the eplan? 1/2

I would take the freecard and definitely not shove. With $40 or so left, the BB is going to get all his money into the pot with any hand, most of which are dominating you.

If you take the...

Re: Flop decision to a miniraise with TP and much backdoors

Backdoor flush draws are worth roughly 1-1.5 outs on the flop. Facing a check-raise, assuming villain isn't bluffing, you are definitely dominated with your one pair and likely dominated with your 2...

Lets all, like, relax and give this guy some constructive criticism instead of tearing him a new [censored] for misusing "dream flop." People who post these types of threads aren't the King...

Standard. This is a nice raising hand pf. I guess you nits just like to raise preflop, hit the nuts and get paid off by idiots rather than play poker somewhere along the way.

Re: Set of aces on turn on straighty board

The check-call on the flop and check on turn screams flush draw. I'd bet this turn and re-evaluate if he re-raises you or pots the river.

Re: PLO 25 - Did I play this wrap correctly

Yes you played it correctly, but I would have shoved on the flop, not only for the reasons stated but to chase away that pesky MP1 who called getting 5-1.

Additionally, I wanted to post and...

Re: Fullring versus 6Max

I play pretty low stakes, and there are usually at least 3 tables going at Full Tilt at FROH100 and below (or if you sit down at one it'll fill up). Stars, when I played there, always had several...

Re: Fullring versus 6Max

I'm a fullring player to the bone and prefer that far and beyond above 6-max, having 20k and 500 hands respectively. In fullring, you can afford to be far far more patient and wait for a good hand...

Re: PLO100 - picking up a good draw, deep, in an out of control pot

PF that hand is terrible, I'd fold it for 4.5bb much less to 20bb. AF you have the second best board you could ask for (second to TXX) so if you're ballsy enough to play it PF you better be ballsy...

Geez I'm in the middle of a 7 buy-in downswing (half NL half OH) right now and feeling pretty emo. You 20 buy-in swingers make me feel so much better. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
