Re: WPT PARIS CANCELLED
That's because they left Monte Carlo and entered France. There was a blog that mentioned a Stars employee having to exit MC via Italy for this very reason.
Monte Carlo does not have the same laws...

Re: 2nd hand story: Phil Laak $70k angle-shoot
Ok, I do see a difference in the Kenna James hand. That was a douche move. The Laak hand I don't have a problem with, there is no mention of Laak calling the floor in the two variations.

Re: AK nearing the bubble, FTP
I just misread the hand, I apologize. I think you need to raise or fold on the flop.
One other thing to consider. Since you have a "crazy" image why not open shove from button or make a 7xBB...

Re: 2nd hand story: Phil Laak $70k angle-shoot
In all scenarios you are misleading your opponent, giving them a false sense of hope that they have the best hand. So are you telling me that there are degrees of misinformation that are ethical and...

Re: 2nd hand story: Phil Laak $70k angle-shoot
What is the difference between the Laak, James, etc stories and pretending to struggle over a reraise holding AA preflop?
This past summer at the WSOP I remember witnessing a 5/10 NL hand between...

Re: Slowing Down and Controlling Emotions
Let me clarify...I actually tear off a small piece of a post-it-note. The adhesive is not so strong that it will leave a lasting impression on your monitor. Obviously overtime it would.

Re: Slowing Down and Controlling Emotions
This is a reoccuring problem for me as well. It's simply a lack of focus. One thing I have done in the past is to tape or cover my hole cards. This helps me to avoid making a decision prematurely and...

Re: Calling a raise with AQs and miss the flop
My first instinct is to push preflop as betgo suggested but after rereading your post you said the player is a "little" tight.
So, here is the range I would put him on(I'm new at this though),...

Re: Tangling with the chip leader
This is a part of my game that I've really changed in the last month. Calling raises with suited connectors or one gappers in position used to be something I never did. In fact, I used to moan when a...

I wanted to take the moment to re-introduce myself to this forum. I have been a member for a while here but have rarely posted. Frankly, I never felt comfortable here due to the elitist mentally I...
