Been making a few plays like this lately, do you like it?

Re: Low straight - LP donks on scary(?) river

[ QUOTE ]

OP, what makes you think this guy is loose-passive ... stats are reads??

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah what I said was based on stats. He's 29/8/1.1 after 250 hands.

Re: Turn decision with Overcard

*grunch*

Hmm, struggling a bit with these second-barrel situations as well. However here I probably try one more time. Also, I generally fold preflop unless I have tight players behind me.

TPTK on monotone flop 6way

Looking back, this hand is probably pretty standard. But things aren't going my way so I need confirmation.

So you get at least double the FPP's (depending on VIP status) during May 11th-22nd, do these count towards the bonus making it a 7.5x or less?

Re: 2/4 Hands (3)

*grunch*

Hand 1: I probably check-call flop, just because villain won't fold often on a flop like this, and it is also likely he will 3-bet with many combinations of hands (AT,...

Re: AQo vs. LAG and LP

*grunch*

I think I donk the turn, to prevent Button from checking down w/ draws and possibly getting SB out if he raises. I then bet river if not raised, if so I probably c/c.

Re: Got check-raised on a ragged board heads-up.

*grunch*

If we 3-bet here, I think villain will have a pretty good idea of what we have (AQ, QQ+ probably), and can play the river optimally. We won't get much value out of worse hands, and risk...

Re: 10,199 hands of .50/1

Aye, thanks Ozi.

Looks like what I should concentrate on most is stealing/raising more in LP (limping a lil' more too) and defending my blinds against raises.

Any reading tips on these apart...

Re: 10,199 hands of .50/1

I have a couple of reponses to you guys:

1. "Oh THAT's how you got so many posts"

2. Wow, you want me to play 11/11/11. I thought I was tight enough already..

joking ofc, but is this all I...

Villain was TAG-ish 13/5/2

I agree with the river, he could have 99 but also some suited broadways that high have made straights or flushes.

Also, if I can't expect three preferably four of the players behind me to call I...
