I'll give it a bash too, if not too late.

Re: KQ

But the problem is you win small pots when you hit, and the others miss and fold, but lose big pots when you hit, are dominated, and call down.

Um, there are only two hands that can dominate it (AK and AQ).

Re: QQ on the button

I'd just check through on the river - if he calls, I don't think he's calling with worse than a pair of queens more than 50% of the time.

Re: QQ in SB vs OC Galore

Is check/folding the turn very weak? There are two overcards on the board, pot's not huge, villain has an ace a lot of the time (with no redraw), and negative implied odds aren't great.

Re: OOP on the turn with a big draw again.

I like a flop bet. There's always a risk that it will get checked through. If someone bets, it's likely to be late position, making a C/R difficult. You don't mind getting raised as this is more...

Re: Re-raising pre with the QQ

[ QUOTE ]

I just ran PokerStove 4-handed with the following hands:
1.) QQ
2.) AA-99, AKs-ATs, AKo-AJo, KQs, KJs, KJo (the default raising range for a TAG reading from a chart)
3.) random

Re: Flush over Flush?

You're probably good here, but a three-bet is going to blow V1/V2 away. Call and hope for overcalls (+avoid cap by bigger flush).

Re: SB Messy? .05 /.10

Bet the turn - you want people with overcards to fold, and you might win the pot if you represent the straight. If called, I would check/call the river.

Re: 99 did I have the right odds to play this to the river?

On the flop, I'd try and decide whether I've missed my set and folding, or may have best hand and trying to win the pot. With a single overcard and the PF raiser c-betting the flop, I'm thinking I...

Having read the thread, I have a couple more thoughts.

Don't there have to be no draws for WA/WB? The third heart makes our hand stronger if behind, and makes...

Re: KT blind steal Missed a raise anywhere?

Grunch.

I think I would call the turn bet if it hadn't been a heart.

With a 3rd heart, I think a raise may be better. We may have the best hand, and the turn C-bet could be a bluff, or...

Re: Can you read these guys?

OK

SB has 6s7s
UTG has KcTd
UTG+1 has AcAd
MP1 has Qc5c
Hero has 8h9d
Button has KdQd

And they're all a bit bonkers (except hero of course).

Re: AJs, one cold caller, 2 queens on flop.

I'm not sure how much you can read into the numbers after 60 hands. After 130, this guy was 20/8/1 - not super aggressive, but not passive either.

Even passive players may be tempted to bluff bet...

Personal thanks to everyone who posts on the micros forum - I don't post very often but spend much longer reading as much as I can.
