Re: NL50 - 99, turn brings Ace - what to do?

when he calls your flop raise he either has a 6 a J or a PP, theres not much ese he can have... possible floating with Ax but i think its unlikely

if you bet the turn he prolly folds a 6 and...

Re: 66 making a set on the river

converters messed up a bit... either way raise pf then cbet the flop.

as played i prolly just shove, i have no idea what he has but i reckon its 2pair/somethign random enough of the time to make...

Re: nl50 kk on paired board

i think you played it fine so far, now push... the fact he only started with 80bbs makes it an easier shove. lots of draws he can have, a 7, a pp. 85 got there if hes playing that pf, but plenty of...

Re: 50nl KK vs very agressive player

since hes v.agro and pretty loose i'd just repop him on the flop and get it in now. hes going broke with a FD a Q for sure, maybe even an ui mid pp that thinks your FOS... if he has a 5 oh well. i...

Re: 20NL: Limp/Caller minraises my overpair on a dry flop. Pop him?

dry flop? this is almost as wet as they come! loads of FD/SDs.. i'd reraise to ~$10-12 and shove any turn. the flops far too drawy to just call, especially oop

Re: Fold KK on the flop after aggression

i dont fold this... people do weird [censored] in 3bet pots. i think folding overpairs in 3bet pots on these flops to unknowns is a recipe for disaster. this can so easily be a FD, random ui pp, SD,...

Re: JJ on the button in 3bet pot Qhigh flop

Re: Pot control or protection? Discuss this texture

Genz,

the bottom line is you cant fold this hand on this board to this player in this pot. the pot is too big, your 50/50 vs his legitimate calling/shoving range, foldings a big mistake. add in...

Re: Pot control or protection? Discuss this texture

i think trying to fold out AK TPTK in a 3bet is a very futile attempt, even from nits.

obv you're not trying to fold out AK, but i think worrying about folding it out is a little redundant unless...

Re: Pot control or protection? Discuss this texture

how many hands is the sample? if it really is tiny, like 10-20 then i dont think you can assume hes tight, basically a complete unknown.. if its 35+ even though obv the samples still tiny assuming...

Re: 2NL - Top two pair, stack off?

3betting with the intention of calling a shove. if you're not willing to go ai then theres no point in 3betting. i'd 3bet because hes not a great player and i dont think he'll fold many if any of the...

Re: 2NL - Top two pair, stack off?

your 50/50 against a range of:

{ 99-55, A7s, 98s, 87s, 75s+, 65s, 43s, A7o, 98o, 87o, 75o+, 65o, 43o }

at 2nl its prolly a reasonable range for villain to play like this.

i wouldnt put him...
