Re: can i just fold this pf?

hmmm.. Unless he's megatight I think folding is rediculous.

You can shove AK as you do AA/KK for shania... If he's folding JJ- you've just picked up a nice pot and if he's not you are only about a...

Re: ak hits A high flop and gets minraised

monkeymaps? What if villain made a decent raise instead?

We're OOP and both reraising or leading the turn are going to commit us and cost us more when we're behind. I think we're not ahead very...

There's so many random Ax hands in buttons range that you are way ahead of.

[/ QUOTE ]

It would take a good read to put him on a weak ace here IMO. Few villains will raise with that...

Re: ak hits A high flop and gets minraised

I think you're beat quite often... Even if he does this with AQ and AJ there's still 88, 99, A8, A9, 98 and it's going to cost us a lot, being OOP, to find out if we're beat. I fold.

Re: 25NL - 99 Overpair vs raise

yeah, just c/c... As played you have to fold if he's not very agressive.

Re: 25NL, passive with a set

You will hardly ever get action on this river... I like to bet/3bet the flop, or check/raise the flop...

On a dry board I sometimes call flop and raise turn, because call/call will never get you...

Re: 10-10 second barrel

I like the size too... But you have to do that with AK as well.

Re: 10-10 second barrel

If the flop is drawy, I like... If he likes to float small pairs on flops you migth have missed, I like...

In this case, I guess it's ok if he flatcalls a lot of sc's and small pairs preflop.

Re: traz made a video!

Nice vid, I like, thanks! You are a bit nitty /images/graemlins/wink.gif Here's some comments I hope will help.

I think the 3betting with small pp's is a waste of value. I much rather play them...

Re: 3bet 78s flop brings MPSK - What now? NL50

Don't you think it must seem very suspicious to him that you raised the flop and then checked behind on the turn.

IMO he doesn't have to have a high AF to bet here... He'll just have to figure out...

Re: check turn or not

sightless: Interresting. I put him on a draw quite often, so I'd automatically bet.

What would you do if he checks behind and the river is 9+ and he bets? He could have a bigger pair or a straight...

Re: 3bet 78s flop brings MPSK - What now? NL50

If we check behind I think he will bet river with anything and we cannot fold or it would mean we give up as soon as he calls our raise on this flop...
Than why raise this flop? : I think we cannot...

Re: check turn or not

I like... I think the river is a fold.

On this turn: If villain is on a draw he still is. This sudden raise is funny. Maybe he slowplayed an overpair, set or twopair on the flop, maybe he has 33....

whoops.... misread and stats were on villain. Same goes without a read, I guess. That dude behind you doesn't worry me too much, he's probably calling with worse aces and only making this more...

Re: What?

Meh... any option will do, but it is very villain dependent. Here's my thoughts.

- If villain donks FD's/combodraws I like a raise.

- If villain donks weaker aces (which are def. in his range)...

Re: pokerev, winning pots without showdown [theory]

I have about 9K hands of mayor spew and tilt on 5NL that still made a profit on the small pots... Looking for some webspace to post it.

Trouble playing FD

Hi all.... I've been playing 5NL for a bit trying out new things and rebuilding my BR. I've been trying to get more agressive playing draws with suited (gap) connectors.

The trouble is that I...

Devil's advocate again...

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the suitedness of a hand only adds 2-4% to their final win percentage at showdown. This point may be retarded...

Re: Asking LAGs for help....

Note that in a game where your opponents will float a lot or test you a lot it will be hard to steal and we are better off playing to make a hand instead of playing to steal. SuperSystem's strategy...
