Re: NL100 - KK on paired board against tight BB

I think the board is dry enough to justify checking the turn. He probably has a weaker pair and, although he won't bet the river, he'll probably call a river bet when he would have folded to a turn...

Re: Marijuana

Just explain to them that you tried it in Amsterdam but you're like, totally clean now and you don't plan on doing it ever again. I'm sure they'll be fine with it.

Re: Eurotrip - college freshman

FWIW I wouldn't sell Lisbon short. I've been in about a dozen European countries and Portugal has thus far been my overall favorite.

Overpair gets C/mRed on flop by apparent TP

Villain seems passive post flop. 23/15/<1 over only like 50 hands. Saw him complete KT and check down flop/turn on a 3-way AKx board and minbet the river. Also saw him open K9o OTB, and then check...

Re: TPTK dangerous board/crowded pot facing donk bet

Villain has 45BB. I'm fine with raising the flop and putting him AI on the turn.

Re: 200NL Disgusting river spot

As played, what about a river check/call? Might snap off a bluff trying to fold you out of KK/QQ, and it gets us to showdown.

Re: 400 NL: rivering TPTK, but 4 to a flush hits

What about second-barreling the turn? I think you can scare off a floating mid-PP here fairly often.

Re: TPTK against a LAG

I'd 3-bet pf and cb the flop.

As played pf, I'd probably just c/c, c/c, c/c if I think he's laggy enough to keep firing.

Re: Chances of Death = X, Do You Save a Friend?

Wow, OOTers are cold. Without hesitation I'd make this 100% for any family member under 65, and 100% for any friend with children. I'm 25 and I guess if I were treating this like a poker game it...
