Re: 600: I Know We All Hate It But..

As others have said, go broke on 1 (assuming the mp2 guy folds after the bb check-3bets the flop). BB's hand range is too large to fold your set.

Second hand is much closer.

Re: 200NL - Sort of Basic Hand v CalledDownLight (BlueDevils09)

If OP bet the flop in earlier position then I'd buy the fold line. However given BB is a thinking player and the flop bet came from the last to act, this does not look like an clear fold to me. I'm...

Re: nl50 KK faces AA9 board and a bet

Villian has plenty of time to get his short stack into the pot without leading on the flop. Given that, his flop lead is suspicious. Without a read, I'm calling on the flop.

Re: 100NL: Value Bet River vs. Nit?

Given the weak check behind on the turn, a river bet is manditory. Bet near pot to max value and as a bonus you get an easy final decision.

Re: NL50: AA vs raise on flop, drawy board

I call the turn as well (in most cases). This hand boils down to the likelihood villian holds AQ. Two questions in my mind are "Has villian adjusted to my somewhat loose pf play?" and "How does he...

Re: Hand against 1p0kerboy

[ QUOTE ]
1p0kerboy can have any 2 cards at any time. That is why he is dangerous.

Re: 100NL glad i was sober here....obv AA?

Even if he can have only 22,55 and AA, you have him beat 3/7 of the time. Even with your assumption the call is close.

Re: NL25 - This hand annoyed me (rare)

At a NL25 table, against standard opponents, you get paid by villian atleast twice for every time you get shown his top flush or str8 flush. Definitely reraise allin.

btw, I like your thinking...

Re: NL 100- do i raise turn??

Villian is tight enough pf to mainly have big Aces in his turn betting range. i.e. he is not going to play small pairs from ep. I would raise the turn and hope my flop-check/turn-raise does not...

Re: 200 NL, AK 3-bet pot against two morons.

I'm bet/calling against passive types and crai if I believe I get a bet on a high percentage of my checks. I'm a head often and just have too much suck out potential against 2-pair type hands to not...

Are you guys raising all SCs with one limper in position? Or are you just raising the higher ones... like 9Ts (as compared to 34s)

Re: QJ in BB flops trips

I agree with others here. Your flop line screams strength. You went check - call minibet - reraise minicheckraise. I don't think I've used that line before but it's hard to imagine you have...

Given this

This observation loses most of its typically weight.

Re: 5/10 BVB vs LAG

However we may well get paid on a near full pot bet if a ten falls. I like the bet/call on turn.

Re: Standard deviation question

13300 hands SD = sqrt((16.02)^2*133)=184.7516
Mean win 13300 hands = 1.95 * 133 = 259.35
z=(-360-259.35)/184.7516=-3.336
P(z<=-3.336)=0.000425 or .0425%

Re: 2/4 - Flopping the joint

Certainly villian gives up 34 on the turn atleast some of the time given the fact that he may now be drawing dead to both a straight and a boat. Also on the turn villian has a potential over caller...

Re: MSNLers: What is your WTSD / W$SD?

Interpreting these numbers as "high is good" is dangerous. If both are high, this may be caused by not value betting your good hands enough on the river.
