Re: N9ne Steakhouse in Vegas.

I have to draw the line somewhere. Charging for soda refills; that's ridiculous IMO and would deter me from any fine dining establishment.

Re: A Thursday night in Vegas. Accomodation Suggestions Please.

Thanks for the input. I think we'll slumb it up at PH and walk over and grab a seat in the 5-10 game at Bellagio.

Thoughts on Spread Limit Poker??

While traveling for work last night, I stopped in on a casino in Southern Washington where NL is not allowed unless you are on an Indian Reservation. The spread limit was 4-40. 1 and 2 blinds with a...

Re: You mean Franzese and the mob are connected to the NFL, too ?

I'll have to check out "Quiting the Mob." Franzese was a big-time earner. The fact this guy made the Costra Nostra literally hundreds of millions of dollars is fascinating to me. Hearing his story on...

Re: who owns fulltilt?

It's probably correct to assume if these American citizens/apparent FTP owners(Ivey, Lederer, Bloch, etc.) are being paid revenues/paychecks from Full Tilt, it is going to off-shore accounts, or...

Re: who owns fulltilt?

Two years ago I heard an interview on Jim Rome's radio show with Michael Franzese and he alluded to the ties between internet gambling/internet poker and organized crime. Franzese was a long-time mob...

Also, what is the general consensus on how many hands a player needs to track to...

Re: Live Vegas $1/2NL vs $2/5NL

Darth - I agree with you 100%, but running well and not getting sucked out on does play a factor. I'm gonna be in Vegas Thur-Mon and am looking forward to picking on some tourists over the weekend....

Re: Vegas - What would you do?

Touche. I should have just said "no hookers." Your comment does open up a whole new can of worms. Under your theorom I, and many bachelors like me, have been paying for sex for years.

Vegas - What would you do?

Me and 3 friends are spending the holiday weekend in Vegas: 4 nights at the Palms. I arrive Thursday at 3:30pm and they arrive at 11pm. What would you do rolling solo for those 7.5 hrs?

Re: Las Vegas Ring Games

Bellagio definitely the most action for 2-5NL IMHO. I enjoyed the Venetian last weekend for 1-2NL with the 300 max buy in.

Re: Vegas Roll - stupid question, but anyway...

While your point is taken, I'm hardly a newbie. More of a degen. I'm spending 3 weekends in August scratching the felt in Vegas. Of course, my company is paying for the flight...which is nice.
