Re: 2007 Atlanta Braves Thread: Reclaiming the NL East

Honestly, I know there are very few conclusive studies about players turning it up when it matter or delivering in the clutch, but given some of the things Chipper has said and the way he has...

Re: Burning calories walking vs. running

[ QUOTE ]
1 hour walk = 20 minute run. seems logical.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well that's different than 1mi walk=1 mi run. I don't run 3x faster than I walk.

Burning calories walking vs. running

A friend of mine told me that you would burn the SAME amount of calories walking 3 miles as you would jogging 3 miles.

Assume walk is at 16min/mile pace and jog is at 9min/mile, or whatever. My...

After winning 7.2k in a live tourney and paying off my stake I shortstacked 5/10CAP PLO. Flopped a set of jacks against A5 on a AJ5r board. Instantly ratholed. flame away.

Ship 800 pot.

Re: Brag: Won Canterbury Donkament

I tipped 300. Was planning on 100, but the second place guy kinda gave me a look about that. He ended up tipping 500 himself. i'm glad I wasn't too far off from the standard amount.
