Re: Detroit players...any limit hold em downtown???

MCC usually has 10/20 or 15/30 round by round game going. Greektown had 3/6 and MGM is just NL games.

And there are no more etables anywhere.

Re: Iconsistencies in B & M rooms

Iconsistencies within the same room are what I find most irriating. There is no excuse for one floor manager to make one floor ruling and another to make a totally different one. The players should...

Iconsistencies in B & M rooms

I haven't seen this posted before, but I was wondering why the rules are never the same from one B & M card room to the next. I think it would be easier if their were one set of rules, just like you...

How do you handle this?

I notice this a lot in lower limit games especially when people are having fun and not taking the game seriously:

-A player shows his neighbor his cards then finally mucks.

-A player...

What would you do?

So a few weeks ago I was playing 2/5 NL live.

After the first several hours I was up like 1.5k. I was hitting a lot of sets and getting paid off. You really can't ask for more than that. Part...

WSOP Satellite question

I'm thinking about making my first trip to the WSOP this next summer (2008) and had a few questions as I plan ahead.

I prefer to satellite in if I can. How are the satellites structured for...

Chances of hitting BBJ

I was wondering what the chances are of winning a BBJ? Both a table share and the winner/lossers share? Qualifications are Aces full of Jacks beaten by Quads or better, both cards must play, $20 in...

Re: Vegas Trip Report - Bellagio/Caesar\'s/Venetian

I once had 5 straight flushes in one week online and every time the other guy had the nut flush and I stacked him. Now what are the odds of that?

Re: opened 6 hours later

Yea...MGM has no clue when it comes to poker. I'm going to give them maybe a 3-6 month learning curve before I venture over there again. Dealers are slow as hell, and management doesnt know the...

Re: NEW MGM IN DETROIT

I know, it sucks. However the 2/5 NL action has been good recently. I was at MGM on Saturday and it was unreal. The average pot was > $500 and the stacks were pretty huge for that game. A lot of...

Re: NEW MGM IN DETROIT

I don't think its realistic to assume the 5/10 NL or higher can run on a regular basis at all three casinos, let alone more than one. 10/20 NL didn't last long at MCC, and let's face it most people...

Woman are the rake

Met a woman in Vegas back in May. Totally good hook-up as she gets compted 1k rooms at the Venetian or Bellagio whenever she comes which is nearly every month. Won 100k at Bel playing BJ and also...

Re: NEW MGM IN DETROIT

I played there this past Thursday and Saturday. Yes, some of the dealers are slow, but they will improve. Some of the dealers and even management are new to poker, but I think it will get better...
