Re: All Around Strategy Books

Deacsoft knows what he's talking about there. You can add to the list Mason's Poker Essay's I-III, Ciaffone's Improve Your Poker and John Feeney's Inside The Poker Mind.

Re: Book of Bluffs by Matt Lessinger

It took me a while to get into this book, but once I did it was a lot of help. This subject is surprisingly neglected in poker literature. It is definitely worth a read.

Re: Cardrunners site info & advice needed

[ QUOTE ]
$130 for 6 months? From the CR site it looks more like $100 to join + $25/mth which is $250 for 6 months. Or are there better deals to be had?

[/ QUOTE ]

Re: Cardrunners site info & advice needed

I subscribe to Cardrunners. It is expensive like $130 for 6 months, but it has been well worth it to me.

Given the read BB, I'm fine with preflop, though I'm sure half this board still wants you to raise PF.

Re: What to buy? HOH vs Little Green vs NLHTAP - Any ideas?

It is hard for me to understand why you would think sizing your river bet to get the highest EV out of it is trivial. The book points out that making a bet that is very likely to be called is not...

I would LOVE a LAG NLHE cash...
