Re: TruePoker Players – 100bb games necessary!

I two think it would be nice to have some actual stacks there. As it is cash games are unplayable since every hand results in all in. Definitely +EV but WAY too high variance.

Re: Witnessed FT chip dumping

Because if someone hacked his account and dumped chips he'd like someone that witnessed it to report it.

1500 chips seem right ?

We are looking at the starting chips for both our Sunday $6K tourney, apparently the one referred to above, and for S&Gs generally.

What sort of blinds are...

Re: Relaxing places to go to get FREE internet?

I think the implication was that at microstakes

1) You'd be less likely to draw attention from someone in the cafe
2) There wouldn't be enough worth stealing in your account.
3) Public wireless...

In that same thread the CEO of True Poker posted how a sample of 600,000 hands at his site showed that only 35% of all hold-em and omaha hands go to showdown. At the very least this...

Thanks.

That's exactly what I did, I just wanted a sanity check.

Preflop rereraise is fine if the opener is aggressive.

Check behind on that flop. Nothing that beats you is folding to a bet, and nothing you beat is calling one. Just check behind and hope to...

$55 buyin, about 120 runners - Sorry, no HH

Reads: MP is usually prety solid. Frankly his limp here is strange considering his somewhat short stack. SB is just completely retarded and could have...

Re: rivered trips with top kicker, $50NL

Sorry, I misread the action. I thought he raised, and then the villian reraised, but not all in.

Agreed - River play is fine, call the push.

Re: rivered trips with top kicker, $50NL

I vote call. I don't see what he's calling a raise with that you beat, but I can't fold here against a guy playing 50% of his hands.

He could have T7 and think his two pair is good.

Re: 4/180 dealing with awful players multiway

I vote call and play poker. If CO wakes up and makes a raise you can fold easily. As it stands, it's early and a minraise.

Re: pocket pair limp/push

I think I like it.

He's getting almost 2:1 though, so I doubt he's folding very much that he's raising with, but you're most likely a coinflip, and still in pretty good shape if you lose.

Re: Draw-o-Rama after defending SB $4/180

I think I'd make a 3/4 pot lead. If he has any kind of overpair (or AJ), you'll get raised and that should help build the pot.

If you do get raised, I'd be torn between flat calling and pushing. ...

Re: Tough Post-Bubble Decision ($50+5)

At what point does this situation not become marginal? Obviously he had AA here, so going broke with KK would definately happen.

What if you had QQ? TT? 77? AK/AQ?
